We got this for one of our sons as two of the other guys in the family have Bearskins. This is really similar. First one of these we got was navy, then when he grew out of that one we got it in dark grey. Excellent excellent jacket. We live in the Midwest and he needed this as an alternative to a winter jacket basically. He wears this to the bus stop in the snow and rain because it’s thin enough to get away with as a hoodie all day at school. It has a ton of pockets to hold all his stuff. So many pockets ! This first one shows virtually no wear on it after a full school year and my kid is not easy on his clothes. The Velcro patches on the sleeves are fun too. This is definitely a men’s fit, as it fit me (mom) funny but fits the guys perfectly. My son gives it 10 Stars because it’s comfy, soft, and keeps him warm. I just unboxed this jacket and I am really impressed with it so far. We live at a high altitude and currently have 25-30mph winds with snow/rain mix. I put it to the test and stepped out into the weather. This is pretty much wind proof! I had on a light t-shirt underneath and did not feel the wind anywhere under the jacket. Material feels nice. Lots of pockets. All of these are pros. The zipper on the wrong side really isn’t an issue. Only has a couple cons: the main “hand” pockets are a bit to close together for me, I like them more to the sides. Hood would be nicer with draw cords. Color is dead on as advertised. It’s super lightweight. I am 5’7” but have broad shoulders and have to wear an XL. Sleeves are just right, so I understand why some reviews say they are short. All in all, I’ll be ordering a few more in other colors. ... show more

It is a good jacket plenty of pockets and comfortable in a wide range of temperatures. It does run a hair small in the shoulders and the zipper pull is on the left vs the right. Not a deal breaker but something to know

This is a warm fleece jacket made of very dense fleece fabric. The fit is good. The hood is cut well and is comfortable. The multi-pocket arrangement runs from the practical to the curious. The main hand warmer pockets are large and the openings are set high to allow for a backpack hip belt. There are pockets in the sleeves including one with a port for wired headphones. There is a pocket in the lower back that runs all the way across the back and can be accessed from either side. All the zippers are quiet and good pulls. The main front zip is double ended and reversed from how most US zippers work with the sliders on the left. It is a bit fiddly to get the inserted piece all the way into the sliders, (this does seems to be getting better with use) but once fully seated the zip works smoothly. So here is my overall honest review, i'll start with the pro's. Pros: *Plenty of pockets *Good for 40 degree weather *Love the hood(Favorite feature by far) Cons: *Zipper is on left side - Just makes me realize it was made in china each time i zip it *Hand pockets are about 6" higher than normal making it uncomfortable - Biggest gripe Overall its not bad, would I purchase again, not likely, but I will keep it and use it for fishing and yard work. I just can't get over the whole hand pockets being so high. If that were changed I would give it a 4 start, change the zipper and pockets a 5 star. This jacket fits well. It’s comfortable and surprisingly warm for not being too heavy or bulky. I wore it in a light rain and it repelled the water well. The rain drops would collect on the outside, but nothing penetrated to the inter layers. It has a double zipper, allowing the bottom to be opened. This also has more pockets than any probably needs. I’ll be ordering another one in a different color as well, gotta have options. ... show more

The draw string on the waist does not stay in place it goes right back as it were. Guess the clipping thing is defective. But everything else is pretty much good. Color is solid navy, it has plenty pockets both big and small the cuffs should've been elastic. Edited review.
