I absolutely love this shelf. It's a little thinner wood than I would've liked but it's very pretty and is strong enough for its purpose. The only thing I hated was the assembly bc the peices didn't fit properly. A hammer was required and some of the corners have damage. Other than the trouble of putting it together I really love my new shelf. It's beautiful and works. (Tip: I used compound velcro strips and removed the metal hooks.) ... show more

    • Cute little shelf, but has a few flaws.
This is a very cute shelf - I bought it to put my favorite rocks and crystals on display. The product comes flat and you have to assemble the 3 shelves yourself. The only problem with that it that this is a fairly cheap product, and one shelf went in really easy (a little loose), another just fine, and the third would not fit. You have to wedge the shelves in, and it relies on that tension for sturdiness. As i tried to push the last shelf in, it seemed like it was starting to splinter and crack, so I stopped. I had to get sandpaper and buff some of the wood away at the end so that i could wedge it into it's slot. Once it was assembled, it was very cute, and has been hanging on my wall with crystals on it. The shelves seem sturdy enough for very light objects, but definitely not for any heavier rocks or whatever. Just know that this has it's flaws, but it is cute, and overall, I really like it for what it is. ... show more

Some of the pieces didn’t fit in super well, and they were pretty flimsy. I just used some multi purpose glue and the pieces and put them into place. It seemed to help, as you can see it’s holding up some heavier crystals quite well.

Although this shelf is cute, it's over priced at $15. It's small & the little shelves are loose. I had to super glue them in, which caused discoloration to the stain, so I had to paint the glue with brown paint. The painting hanging above it is a 9 x 14 to give an idea of the scale of the shelf.

Its chipping and the shelves are uneven and dont even fit. I get its $15 but atleast make sure the wood isnt so cheap it chips just trying to assemble it. Not easy to assemble at all with the uneven cut wood. Its impossible to put one of the shelves in without breaking it. Its Definitely lightweight.. cheap ... show more

Pros: Looks very nice, is easy to assemble, hung up easily, and holds my crystals well. Cons: It is a lot smaller than I expected (but maybe I should have paid more attention to the dimensions) and is a bit rickety. The shelves slide into pre-cut slats on the base of the moth. And because of this, they aren't exactly secured permanently. I was able to balance my crystals on this just fine but if anyone were to nudge them, the shelf may just fall out. I just put mine in a place where no one will be touching it. This added a cute detail to my wall and I really do love it! I just think - you get what you pay for from Amazon crafted items :P ... show more
