I had severe acne as a teen. Underwent Laser facial resurfacing in my late teens for the scarring and I think the Doctor went too deep, or I didn't recover properly, or both. Ever since, I've had extremely sensitive facial skin, especially the cheeks, temples and nose. Chronically red unless conditions and health are perfect. Cold or hot weather, almost any cleanser or moisturizer, and even emotions like stress would enhance it. Forget alcohol or lack of sleep - I'd look terrible. I have been using Clinique's "Super City Block" for years to protect my skin and add a bit of color blending, but they recently discontinued it. I was back to square one. Had one last comment from an old friend in December 2024 - "Boy your face is red as can be!" I hunkered down and found this product. It's a Primer.... I'm a 30 something male I don't know what that even means. But the essence of my review is this - This product alleviated my facial redness, evened out my skin tone surprisingly well (I'm not easily surprised - I've been through it all for nearly 20 years) and lasted a whole 9 hour shift, aside from my normal greasiness coming through by the end of the night. I've only had it one week, it's now January 8 2025. But I am so satisfied I felt compelled to come write a few minute recommendation for this. It literally cancels out face redness but it's not just a colorful makeup. I read it has some skin moisturizers to soothe skin as well. Again, Primer. I will one day research what a Primer is. Meanwhile... I can hold my head up high at work and among family and friends knowing my face doesn't look like I've been sunburnt again. In the Wintertime... Smh. I’ve been using the color correction primer for a few days now and I’m probably gonna order another. It works immediately, results aren’t drastic, but it definitely does the job and I feel confident wearing this alone, without any makeup.
