The media could not be loaded. Finally had a nice day to set up the canopy. Instructions on the package were easy to follow. I pulled open the frame, then went to the center and pushed up until the center latched in place. I was pleased that I could do this by myself. Then, ensure all of the roof frame is latched on the outside. Next, I attached the center canopy which connects to bars that pivot enough to make it easy to slip the pockets over to hold the center canopy. Next, I put the outer top canopy on, ensuring the inside edge was under the center canopy. Be sure to put the extended supports through the hole in the outer top canopy’s inside drape. Then put the elastic loop over the extended support and the end in the pocket. The elastic loop will hold the overhang when the support is pushed in when packing. Then be sure to attach all of the velcro straps underneath to the frame so everything holds. It was a bit windy but the six legs and size made it stable. Then I extended the legs and the setup was complete. It comes with a mesh screen that surrounds the sides and stakes to hold it down in stronger winds. It’s very attractive and doesn’t look like a portable canopy. Take down was simple. Leave the canopy on. First, release the center roof latch. Then unlatch all of the roof frames using the plastic buttons covering the latches to make it easier to unlatch little metal latches in. Then unlatch and push the legs up and push in the extended roof supports. Now you can walk the legs in by lifting and walking towards the center. You may need to do this incrementally with different legs. As you walk it in, tuck the canopy canvas in between the legs so it compacts as much as possible. Once it is all the way in, you can take the carrying bag and slip it over the top. You may need to squeeze the framing a bit to get started, but the bag will slip over then you can put it on its side and zip the bottom on. The wheeled bottom makes it much easier to move the canopy. This was much bugger than we thought. Which is fine. Just pay attention to the sizes. We also ended up buying more steaks to hold it down. During set up process I recommend really paying attention to the instructions to save a headache.

It was easy to set up the frame it popped right up. Looked like it may have been reasonable quality I did not open the packages containing the cover or mosquito netting as the frame let me know this will not meet my needs

    • Easy Setup! Pop-Up Paradise!

After years of wrestling with stubborn canopies that seemed designed to test my patience, this gazebo felt like a revelation during our family cookout last weekend! I tackled the setup solo while my brother prepped the grill, and was genuinely shocked when I didn't end up stuck with my arms overhead looking ridiculous halfway through. The center-locking mechanism just works, one firm push upward and everything clicked into place without the usual struggle. We had some unexpected wind pick up just as guests started arriving, and while our previous canopy would have been halfway to the neighbor's yard by then, this design stayed firmly in place even before we remembered to add the stakes and sandbags. The mosquito netting became the unexpected hero of the evening when the bugs came out. My sister who typically avoids outdoor setup duties after a bad experience with our last canopy, actually volunteered to help take it down, that's how simple the process was! ... show more

Reviewing CROWN SHADES 16x16 Pop up Gazebo with Mosquito Nettings, This is so easy to set up. It’s like a canopy you would set up for a BBQ or a wedding. One person can do it, but two people make it a cinch. It comes with tie down ropes, stakes and sandbags. The canvas is very sturdy and should last for several years, but it is meant as a temporary shelter. It’s not meant as a pergola or a permanent installation on your patio. Like most pop-up canopy’s, this is not mean to withstand storms, strong wind, heavy snow, or hail. It is mean to be taken down before any weather hits it. It provides plenty of shade and the 16’ x 16’ size is a generous size, and it will hold several people and tables. The mosquito netting is easy to pull back or leave down and it does a great job of stopping flying bugs. It also does a great job of keeping everything underneath the canopy dry in a light rainstorm. I do wish the poles were thicker/sturdier so that it could be left out in weather, but the quality is on par with what I expect at this price point. It’s a good value. ... show more

Picked this up for our patio to have more covered space when friends are over, especially for evening hangs. It definitely works as advertised – the netting is a lifesaver against mosquitos, and that center lock mechanism makes putting it up surprisingly manageable, though definitely still a two-person job because of the size. It feels sturdy enough once up, and the 16x16 space is great for fitting a small table and chairs underneath. Only real con is that it's pretty hefty and takes up a fair bit of space when packed away, but otherwise, it's been solid for extending our outdoor time. ... show more
