In motion, the inner tire's temperature increases due to in-board brakes and poor air circulation. This causes increased air pressure, which expands the inner tire's diameter. As a result, the dual tire configuration is now distorted- the diameters are unequal. Crossfire is a pressure equalizing and monitoring valve that is mounted between dual tires. It bolts easily to the lug, hub cap, or drive axle end. If the wheel has a hubcap, it can be snapped on over the bracket.Bracket B: mounts directly on the 1-1/4"" lug bolt.Bracket T: mounts on the 1/4"" bolt that secures the hub cap to either a disc or spoke wheel.

It appears to be as good as stated. Haven't been on the road yet with my motorhome, but I have been keeping an eye on the pressures so far so good.The only problem I see so far is one side I had to fill to 112 pounds and the other side it was 117 pounds to make the yellow come to the full mark, it is a 110 pound system. ... show more

Great product, keep your pressure equalized in both tires and saves you a lot of time. Every time you fueling up or stop to take a break it takes you only second to check pressure on all of your tires.

    • ... cross fires in a timely fashion but I was disappointed that 1 out of 4 was faulty
I received my cross fires in a timely fashion but I was disappointed that 1 out of 4 was faulty. One of the airlines indicators won't fully to the 110 psi mark. Overall Im glad to have them to help me be a more efficient Owner Operater.

The color codes are out of line on 2 of the 4 I have purchased. Black indicates under inflated, yellow indicates inflated to expectations and red indicates over inflated. While doing a walk around visual I noticed what appeared to be an under inflated pressure reading so I didn’t think anything of it other than to grab the air hose and supply the air. After a minute or so passed I thought I should grab the tire pressure gauge to see where the pressure is because the indicator has not changed from black and both wheels are hard to the touch. The gauge said 122psi and these are supposed to be regulated to 110psi but instead of the indicator being red for over inflation it remained black. I tried reaching them for exchanging but no response! ... show more

Fit great I see ppl saying theirs leak nothing from mines yet. I will say make sure everything is tighten up other than that I like them easy to check tire pressure

    • When ordering, know that it is for one side not both sides.
Came as described, shipped as it should. I just misread description and only ordered for one side and not both sides. Had to reorder for other side.
