  • Need to be made better!
Size: 110 PSI
I wish very badly they made them with better quality. The idea is great, the look of them is great, they save tiore wear and make all your tires last much longer,.. they will not let both tires go down if one goes flat,.. BUT... i have been using these things on my truck for 4 years now. They are made VERY CHEAP! though, and it is very annoying. They are so cheaply made that i tell other people to go buy a spare if they buy 4 of them,,.. because ONE OF FOUR WILL BE LEAKY OUT OF THE BOX!. Sometimes you get a good one that does not leak, and sometimes you get one that leaks like mad and your tires will constantly get low. It is NOT the hoses that leak. NOT the joints or the hoses,.. but the center unit itself that goes bad, and it is extremely annoying. The only reason I have them on my truck, is the benefits of what the units do for the tires long term. Otherwise, I would have thrown them in the garbage a long time ago. ... show more

  • Overall happy with the system.
Size: 100 PSI
Overall happy with the dual tire monitor system. Installed this on a motorhome with 22.5 inner steel and outer Alcoa aluminum wheels. Pressure readings via the colored flag are very close to actual pressures. Installation was simple but I have aluminum Alcoa outer wheels and the supplied bracket to allow use of the lug nut for mounting is too thick for use with these type wheels with standard wheel studs so the lug nut holding the bracket to the wheel stud barely engages all the threads. When I locate them I will be installing at least one longer inner wheel nut so the outer wheel nut will engage properly. One item to keep in mind is not to over tighten the hose connection to the valve stem or valve stem extensions and you will not have any leaking. These have been on for awhile now and I have not lost any air pressure through them. The 100 Psi model cuts off the air flow from the non leaking tire at almost exactly 90 Psi. This works great with the TPMS also installed on the motorhome with its alarm set at 92 Psi. ... show more

  • Hate You Not
Size: 100 PSI
For what is worth I will give this product 3 stars... I hope they will work on oxidation problem of this product I have run into other guys using crossfire and they have had same issues but at two year mark??!! little bit too quick I think... especially when they make these things and they are aware of the conditions these things are going through.. I have purchased four of these for my semi... one of the them lost it year and a half later, it got crooked eye and there is no way of telling if it is over or under....but at least holding the air second one just recently corroded to SH*T and leaked air and if it comes to replacement parts checked on that and one of the lines is half the price of the whole new unit... so no point messing with it... I will still buy the product because it did save my tire once or twice...... ... show more

  • Class C Dual Tire Problem Solved
Size: 60 PSI
I purchased this because of the difficulty in checking the tire pressure of the dual wheels of my Class C Winnebago View. I am very pleased with how easy the installation was, the quality of the product, and how it solved my problem! Here are my thoughts on the product: ADVANTAGES For me, the main advantage is that I can now visually check the pressure of BOTH of my dual tires by looking at the large, easy to read gauge. I can easily fill BOTH of the tires at the same time with my portable Slime air compressor. The advantage of increased tire life and equalization of pressure are just a bonus! DISADVANTAGES Crossfire does not recommend you use the system with wheel simulators. For me, the less chrome the better and I like the look of the stock gunmetal wheels and have removed both front and rear simulators. You could purchase 16" wheel covers and snap them over the system as an option. ... show more

  • A must for Class C RV (revised review)
Size: 80 PSI
Purchased these for a Tioga Class C with 16" wheels and TPMS. Yes, as noted by others, it will not fit properly with cheap push on wheel simulators. May be different with the 2 piece bolt on simulators. Additionally, because of the outer wheel inward facing air stem, the supplied 180 degree hose makes the installation tighter than expected. The company does have a 90 degree alternative which I purchased for a better fit. I probably should have ordered the crossfire directly from the company and specified the 90 degree hose ("teachable moment"). Keep in mind that if and when you get a flat you will have to remove these hoses, so plan ahead. Better safe than stylish, especially after a $4000 rear tire blowout. Lesson learned... I also have a TPMS that I was able to install the sensor on the Crossfire with no problems at all and still accurately read the tire pressure and temp. ... show more

  • Helpful device. I will purchase one for all my dual wheels after this trial.
Size: 105 PSI
The installation was easy and the product just works. I installed both sides in about 30 minutes. If you use the included brackets you must have way to remove a lug nut to secure the mounting. I installed on a Motorhome with chrome hub covers so I drilled a hole in the cover to install the product. There are two features that I really like. First, I can tell at a glance if the tire pressure is correct during my pre trip walk around. The unit face is a uniform color and there is even a line across the indicator at the exact pressure. I found this line to match the calibrated pressure gauge I use. The other great thing about the product is the ease of filling the tires. Duals are always a problem because the stem is always in an awkward position and you have to get in the dirt to inflate the tire. With this device installed the fill stem sticks directly outward near the hub. Filling is easier than most automotive tires. Finally, while I can not be sure it was the crossfire unit, I did get slightly better fuel economy on my most recent trip of 500 miles. Unfortunately, I did other things that may have increased mileage so I can not be sure (Aligned the front end, Increased inflation pressure, etc) One final note. I have a valve stem tire pressure monitoring system and it works just fine connected to the fill stem on the Crossfire. The dash display just shows a single tire in that position., ... show more
