I am a big pen fan/horder. This is one of the best pens I’ve ever carried. It writes smooth, feels good in your hand, and the stylus comes in real handy a lot. It’s also just a beautiful looking pen too. The design and color coating look fantastic.

I've used Cross pens for decades. They were superior to other pens because the ink would never glob up at the point. However, my most recent purchase of one about a year ago I've been having to wipe globs of ink off the point of the pen. It's lesser amount and frequency than I have to do with other pens, but I never had to do this before. The quality isn't the same, and I always buy Cross brand refill cartridges. The stylus at the top of the pen is helpful when needing to move the insertion point in a text or document on a mobile phone, when a finger just can't do it. One of the pen's downsides is that it's smooth surface is slippery. I recommend the product because it's still much better than all other pens I've used, but it is disappointing to experience the decline in quality. ... show more

    • IF YOU DON'T LIKE THE CROSS STYLUS TIP, TRY A FRIENDLY SWEDE REPLACEMENT TIP.

CROSS TECH 2 CHROME DUAL-FUNCTION. Pen: great. Ink cartridge: great. Stylus: C- to D.... If you have stylus problems too, your best bet might be to unscrew the CROSS stylus tip, and replace it with a tip from the following: FRIENDLY SWEDE Replacement Fiber Tips For 3-in-1 Hybrid Pen. (Six Pack). The screw patterns on the CROSS and F. S. tips don't quite match, so the F. S. tip wii only go in half-way, but when tightened, the F. S. tip should be straight as an arrow and solid as a rock. And the F. S. tip is 1000 times better than the CROSS tip. (Though the F. S. tip looks slightly kookie on the oh-so-aesthetically wonderful CROSS Pen). (What do ya want--Form or Function???) ... show more

I bought this as a gift for a graduation, but it arrived without a stylus tip on it, and the box was badly damaged. I attempted to contact Amazon, I was redirected to Cross; long story short, I never found a solution so I just bought a pack of replacement tips for it. By the time they arrived, I had gotten so comfortable with the pen that I ended up just buying another one for my sister, and keeping this one. Pen works fantastically-stylus is… ehhh. (but most others are totally useless, in my opinion) weight and balance are spot on, as per usual for a Cross. Ink flow is perfection, and I simplest cannot go anywhere without it now! ... show more

Wow... a real Cross pen with a stylus included! This is also less thin and with a larger diameter where it counts when writing or using the stylus. I have large fingers and from the beginning of the smartphone takeover, I have sought out so many different styluses and stylus styles! (Try writing or saying that fast). Cross pens have been a very respectable and high end gift since I can remember. The only negative was the thin design for me (way before I needed a stylus). This is a great gift for anyone. Especially those who carry a nice quality pen and will now have a second function for this really nice accessory. I got a couple of ink refills and stylus tip extras to make the Cross pen into an item that won’t get lost so easily as many less cool pens. The stylus is nice and not too close to any clips or holders which makes the ability for my easier stylus usage and precision. ... show more

I really like this pen...but the stylus is not totally compatible with my Samsung Galaxy S10+ phone and my Samsung tablet as it is too firm or material is not compatible. A number of other stylus/pens I have work just fine. I have submitted this issue on the Cross web site but have had no response.
