Bought this for my small foyer/entrance to my condo. To not have to assemble anything, no nails, no screws, no fitting parts together, and to have thin nice airy look with the glass shelves, was a miracle for me. So easy to put together - you just snap the shelves up and insert the glass panels.I didn't even need the printed guide sheet. I have it against my wall without any extra stabilization and it's fine - but I only use it for very light stuff, no books except those I'm returning to the library. The shelves are basically to put things I'm removing on my next trip out of the apartment. Originally I ordered the wider size but it was huge for the area. This size is perfect, plenty of room for things like my glasses, outgoing mail, tissues, hand sanitizer.. The hardest part of putting it together was sliding it out of the very well-secured cardboard and plastic wrap. Packed very consciously and securely. Easy to assemble, attractive, and sturdy. I would definitely purchase again! I love that I have the option of folding it up and storing it, although I don't know that I'll need that. Thinking of getting a second to use as a plant stand.

Overall rating is a 4 because of the minor imperfections (small indentations) where it seems the service should be smooth. Put together in less than 5 minutes. Suggest you follow the advice of the person who assembled it alone. Lay the shelf on the floor and then open it. Click the bottom shelf in place first and then the shelf above that until you get to the top shelf. Purchased the brass finish with glass shelves. For a quick and straightforward shelving unit, this is a good buy.
