Easy to work with it. Works very well. After crimping i pull real hard on the wire and it DID NOT COME OUT. I red other reviews with people complaining the wire coming out from the terminal, so I decided to give it a shot. It worked OK. First after reading the reviews I wanted to return it, but before I did I decided to give it a chance. Glad I did. Works good, crimps well and opens very easy after you done. To me is a keeper. So I first purchased a Titan 11950 7pc crimper set. I have used it quite a bit and really really like it. I had also purchased a couple of extra dies and needed some other that were not specifically offered by/for the Titan. That is how I found the Wirefy product line. I bought 7 additional Wirefy dies and the 9” crimper handle. I was initially concerned if the dies would interchange with the Titan crimper. They seem to interchange without issue. I have not performed many crimps with them, yet it seems so far to be a good addition. I bought the crimper handle to add an additional to my tool box and to have the heavier duty option. It feels good in the hand and operates smoothly. It would be an excellent addition to any tool kit. With all of my new found dies and the additional frame I had outgrown my original blow molded case. I upgraded to a Plano 3500 series box. Plano model number 2375002. It is a clear plastic box most often associated with fishing tackle. The one I chose has a wide section at the bottom that accommodates the crimper frames (both fit and the lid closes) as well as all of the dies I now have. There is not a space for each individual die set but it is very manageable. I mention this because there was some question as to if the case that Wirefy offers would accommodate the larger frame. Lastly I included a photo of the Titan frame, the 9” Wirefy frame and my older Paladin 1300 crimper. I read in another review that the 9” was the same as the Paladin with the exception of the quick change feature. My particular model is not as such and is a closer match to the Titan frame. The grips are quite a bit beefier and seem far more comfortable than the Paladin tool. Final thoughts are, if have you have Titan product here is a good source for additional dies. If you want to get a frame and single set of dies, this is a very good option and if you want the heavier larger frame, I wouldn’t hesitate. ... show more

These have a very solid, reliable and satisfying ratcheting action. The jaws pop in and out very easily with little fuss. Very well made and a joy to have and use after owning cheap tools for too long. The companion strippers are some of the best I've ever used on silver Teflon wire.

Works as described. I must have crimped a 100 or more connections when rewiring my boat. These things were worth the money. Made nice crimps and didn’t tear the insulation like other crimpers

Unfortunately Amazon lumps reviews for all the variants of this tool with replaceable jaws together. This review pertains only to the one called Wirefy Crimping Tool For Insulated Electrical Connectors. This variant has jaws made from stacked plates rather than one-piece castings. I found it very effective for crimping red (22-18 ga) and blue (16-14ga) solderless connectors. The stacked plates result in four crimping bands across the connector which appears to be very effective to make a strong crimp. ... show more

I used their crimper and die for making custom cables for my solar install. Worked great. I save a lot of money over buying generic length cables and have to deal with managing the excess wire length.
