The advertised specifications are an outright lie. This is advertised as having "Cleaner Power: 240 watts" at a frequency: 40,000 Hz. As I am an electrical engineer and a self proclaimed nerd I like to test my new equipment. The specifications are way off from the advertisement. First I checked the output with my frequency counter then just to double check, I hooked my oscilloscope directly to transducer output under load, the measure frequency was only 30,000 Hz (30 kHz) not the advertised 40,000 Hz (40 kHz). The advertised transducer power is 240 watts at 40 kHz; I measure 190 watts @ 30 kHz The advertised heater power is 250 watts; I measure 180 watts. This is a cheap Chinese counterfeit of other much better units. If I could give this zero start I would. I am returning this unit today. My suggestion is stay away from this. ... show more

For the price of the item it was extremely cheap. I used the ultrasonic cleanser for a total of 4 times in my medical practice and it stopped functioning. I noticed when i turned it on, it didn't seem to make the buzzing noise like it is supposed to when activated. I contacted the seller about my issues and was instructed to take the machine apart myself and try to fix it. Upon opening the machine 4 large pieces that were clearly glued on had just fallen off and rendered the machine useless. Don't waste your time on this one. Up til yesterday I would of given this a decent review. Had the unit for just under 3 years, and while the heater never was a quick response yesterday it burned out completely. I emailed the seller, not expecting a free fix but at least some parts support maybe. Their response: "This item comes with a 1-year warranty. Since it's expired already, afraid there are few that we can help with." So now I have a half functional cleaner, and no way I can fix it.. Not impressed and I'll be looking elsewhere for cleaners in the future. ... show more

First review (updates to follow after I use it more) THIS THING IS HORRIBLY LOUD AND NOISY. OMG. I don't know if I can tolerate it. If I had a sound meter, I'd show you proof. As a quick test before I left for the weekend, I tried cleaning two needle nose pliers, a stubby screwdriver and an old washer. After 10 + minutes.....not much action. I'll try some other things next week when I have more time and can out it in the garage. It's way too loud for inside the house. The migration says lower frequencies are louder. Look for the review another buyer posted at how its at 30k, not 40k. Ugh.... what to do, what to do. UPDATE....larger units do make more noise bc they are higher wattage. I decided I would get a smaller unit. It's a 3 liter and it's much quieter. ... show more

Has a respectable volume basket. Just the the right size for my use; larger than hobby items but smaller than industrial use. Fill the reservoir about 3/4 full of water with a couple of capfuls of simple Green concentrate, set heat and length of time, check on progress and adjust heat and time accordingly. Very satisfied with product at this time. Added a sheet of stainless-steel screen, 3/16" openings, for smaller items. UPDATE: 01/09/2022 First off, I'm not an electrical engineer and would only take something apart if it stopped operating. Also, not sure what the quality base line is because almost everything is made in China. The CO-Z 10L is still operating nicely yet, maybe I have a fluke! I use it mainly, not exclusively, for brass ammo cases and for up to 90 minutes at a time. Note: make sure metal of the basket doesn't touch the bottom it will leave a small pit where it does. ... show more

I bought this ultrasonic cleaner for help in restoring an old motorcycle and this proved invaluable. This unit is big enough to clean two carburetors at once plus countless other parts that we ran through it during the restoration. Larger engine parts I was able to fit and clean one side them the other. The heating element worked great and was able to get the cleaning fluid hot which really helpful and made the cleaning better and faster. I’m a mechanic and use this to clean small parts, nuts, bolts and brackets etc… recently I used this in combination with evapo-rust and a bunch of rusty chrome sockets and it ate the rust up in 15 minutes. The company stands by their warranty. Our unit broke recently and they replaced the unit. My coworkers love this unit. Cleans very well, good size although a bit on the loud side. And with a good company behind it , it's perfect!
