Recommended by men’s mags. Works as advertised. Only a 4 instead of 5 because without trays, you tend to get more spill over on the gums with resultant tenderness. May not be a problem for everyone and probably can be reduced by applying more carefully.

I don't know, in my case I think not, but maybe I don't know how to use it correctly? You are supposed apply it to your teeth but then not close your mouth for a while which was impossible for me. Try holding your mouth open for ten minutes, not getting your teeth wet, and you're going to end up drooling like a big old dog. Must be some method I don't know but I didn't have any success. Still I'm putting my rating at 3 stars because maybe it was user error. ... show more
