Quick delivery but the pieces came days apart. I am 54 1/4 and 170 lbs, my feet are just at the end of the foot rest, which comes up exactly high enough . The seat is a good width. It is pretty comfortable. I bought it to lay flat and sleep in after an upcoming surgery, I think it will be ok for that, except for a space the width of my hand between the seat and back when laying flat (see picture with remote of space). The little pillow that comes with it covers that spot if you can get it behind you and it feels supportive, even laying on my side. Do NOT keep the lumbar support deployed when you lay it flat, or it feels like a board in your back. In the uptight position the lumbar support feels great. It’s easy to put together, except sliding the ear rests on, which took me about 20 tries. I’m overall satisfied and happy with my purchase. ... show more

We were nervous to order a lift chair online but this one offered separate controls for your back and legs and that was appealing. We received the chair. Nice looking. Easy to assemble. Worked great for a few weeks then the leg lift part of the chair quit working. I was upset that I could not find a phone number for this company but I did email them with my problem. Surprisingly to me they answered right away even over the weekend. They pin pointed the problem. They sent me a new remote right away that was very easy to change out and now we are back in action. I got this chair for my father so he can elevate his feet. Unfortunately the leg lift does not go flat. His feet are still always sort of pointed toward the floor. Doesn't go high enough.

The two boxes arrived together and instructions were easy to follow. I put it together myself (70+ woman) although the arms would have been easier to assemble with a little help. My husband likes the lift assistance. The footrest is a little short and doesn’t raise as high as you would expect - as mentioned in other reviews - but he 6’ and it is comfortable. Maybe a little unstable when in max lift position? All in all, a good purchase. I would say it is good value for the $$. ... show more

Bought this for sister who just entered a care facility. It was delivered even before the promised date. The employee tasked with putting these chairs together when they arrive told her he has seen dozens of lift chairs and that this is a VERY, VERY nice chair. Because space in her room is such a premium, we wanted a dual motor chair so she could lift the legs without having to fully recline. This fits the bill perfectly. She says it’s extremely comfortable and allows her to get up without having to call for staff to assist her to stand. Having this lift chair will help her maintain some degree of independence.
