Bought this for my 3-year old granddaughter. She loves crafts! She liked this and it is very cute when completed but she didn’t really understand how to push the pompoms into the holes. It is not all that easy for someone this young. I would wait until age 4 or more

I purchased this for my 3-year old granddaughter for Christmas. She started playing with it soon after opening it. It kept her engaged as she worked on all 3 pictures it came with in one sitting. Even her 7-year old brother came over and asked if he could help her, which he did for about a minute. (Let’s face it… he’s 7 and into Minecraft so the fact that he showed interest in it at all speaks volumes.) It takes a little bit of fine-motor skill to put the poms into the holes just right so that they stay if you want to hang them up. And she definitely wanted to hang them up so everyone else could see her beautiful creations. A length of yarn is included for each picture so they can be easily hung. I love that this is a reusable craft! My toddler is repeatedly entertained and loves practicing to place the pom poms on the animals. Note to parents of younger kids - I’d recommend separating the three animals/pom pom sets into different bags so you can easily grab one and focus on one at a time.

I gifted these to my grandson for his second birthday. As the little brother, he wants to do crafts like his 4 year old sister. These were perfect. Right out of the box, he played with them for hours without gluing them fixed. Highly recommend for a first craft kit.

The Pom poms are kind of a tight fit in the holes, making it hard for tiny tots. If they push TOO hard then the poms go all the way through. Not hard enough and everything falls off.

I was very happy with this craft. It's just interesting enough that my 7-year old wanted to participate but simple enough that his 4-year-old sister could manage it. She was thrilled at the color matching. She's a bit delayed in some areas so this is the first craft I've found that she could actually do all by herself, which basically made me burst into tears of happiness. So, as a disclaimer, I may be writing this review a little emotionally right now. Haha. Seriously though, SO happy we could do this craft together today and as a perk, no messy glue!!!
