  • No more glue sticks, No more hair spray. These parts are here to stay!!!! (Spot on 310X310X4mm)
I couldn't be happier with the level of adhesion this glass bed provides, clean up is just a quick wipe with alcohol and done. To be honest the parts stick so well, that even after cooling I have had to pry them from the bed. This bed came with a slight warp sloping down into the center (No more then .005"or +/- .1mm, this in my opinion is perfect allowing room for adjustment based on climate. No need for Gcode corrections. My only personal down fall was that it doesn't completely cover my aluminum hot plate, it recesses 2.5mm on all sides (the dimensions are as advertised 310X310X4mm). But the quality is there, I had to replace my printers bed because the original was warped with a deflection of 2mm from corner to corner with a center dip. Now I know that typically a dip in the center is ideal and easily remedied with aluminum tape. However, trying to force a 4mm tempered glass plate w/ an aluminum 4mm hot bed was actually displacing and stressing even the steel carriage. That made bed leveling a nightmare to say the least and the pre-loading would most certainly have caused premature ware and poor quality prints. I also tried Gcode leveling corrections and as I anticipated the prints would come out off balance like a webble-wobble. Digital corrections only assist with first layer adhesion, if you don't correct the physical aspect then it will reflect in the final builds. ... show more

  • So good I bought one for other printer . Works as good as PEI sheet or better
Works amazingly well so far. I have only tried PLA and PETG on it but is working great. I removed the protective film then wiped it down with 50% alcohol and as another reviewer mentioned it removes a yellowish material. Im thinking it could be maybe leftover from the adhesive on the protective plastic film that was on it. Definitely wait for it to cool down before removing parts and i would also suggest avoid using anthing metal such as a scraper spatula to remove the part as it will most likely damaged the coating on the glass. I us a pair of pliers or large channel lock style to grip and remove the part after cooled down if I am unable to remove it by hand. Update 02/Feb/2021 I just received another one I purchased for another printer deducated to TPU filament. Followed same steps as above on 1st one for cleaning and prep before use. Works great with TPU and I do not wait until glass is fully cooled to remove the TPU. The TPU seems to remove more easily while the glass is hot. As for the other one Ive been using it for ABS and PLA. I found for PLA that running the bed at close to 80c gives the best resaults for adhesion and when cooling down anything under 40c and the print removes easily by hand. Also if you are having adhesion troubles try increasing your filament flowrate or filament extruder steps this will push out the fillament against the glass a little more to help or at least this has worked great for me so far. Happy printing ... show more

  • Great upgrade
It takes a bit to “season” the bed. Had to scrub multiple times with soap and water then rub down with denatured alcohol before anything would stick. There is some minor warping which I was able to solve with some masking tape on the bottom of the bad spots. Huge improvement over the garbage stock plate ... show more

  • Ditch the glue sticks!
Using on a Longer Lk1, fit perfectly, slightly thinner than OEM bed so will require a slight re-level. Back is clean like it was done on a glass bed only better. PLA stuck no problems and once the print was completed and the bed started to cool it retracts and you can hear the part literally popping ITSELF free. It is quite amazing. Going from the early days of trying tape/ glue/ glass/ plastic you name it trying to get parts to stick to the bed and here is a bed now that practically takes the parts off for you with no cleanup to the bed or reapplying solvents. I would never go back to another bed option after this. * The lines on the back of the part are from using some cheap rainbow PLA, using hatchbox red the back looked flawless, just know it is not a pattern from the bed (part feels like glass) but a defect of the printing material. ... show more

  • Dont hesitate
If you do not have this and you are still using a glass bed with painters tape or stik glue, or hair spray. Buy this. You are welcome. I have a older CR-10 and it fits perfect.

  • The surface I always dreamed of!
The media could not be loaded. This thing is amazing. This is the best surface for PLA hands down. I've tried straight glass, PEI, textured PEI, kapton tape, blue tape, glues, etc. This just works. No squishing the first layer, (no more elephant foot). Perfect adhesion when hot, easy to remove when cool. There is this one trade off. You literally cannot remove the parts from the bed until it cools off, but once it cools off, the parts literally release themselves. It is just amazing. This is not a creality printer, but the 310x310 fit my Seckit SK-Go2 perfectly. ... show more
