I was reluctant to buy this item because of some of the negative reviews. However, I took a chance and bought it along with the Apple brand Mag Safe charger. The charger slides into the stand easily but firmly, and my iPhone 15 Pro Max in an Otterbox Mag Safe case holds firmly to the stand while charging. I love that the phone displays the current charge level as soon as the phone is placed in position. The phone can be removed from the stand easily, without disturbing the charger. Some reviews said that the charger came out of the stand along with the phone. Perhaps these reviewers were using an incorrect charger. A bonus is that the stand has a very clean and stylish appearance. I am really happy with this purchase. 3/8/24: Just received my second CreaDream stand and Apple MagSafe charger. If you use this stand WITH the Apple charger, you will have no problem. The charger fits into the stand VERY firmly, and removing the phone absolutely does not pull the charger out of the stand. I finally upgraded to a iPhone 14, so I’m happy to join the wireless charging world! This is just a stand, so you’ll need to purchase the Apple wireless charging device to add and make this stand a MagSafe functional charging stand. It’s a metal stand with a soft padding under the base, so rest assure your table, desk, etc. won’t cause any damage or scratches. Additional soft padding around the opening for the Apple chargers insert to 1) securely hold the Apple charger in place 2) protection for the backside of your phone. Also works well when you’re using a MagSafe phone case. Besides the Apple charger, I also purchased a ‘Carved’ Wireless Charger, a piece of artwork in itself, but it doesn’t fit into this stand, so know that other brands of wireless chargers may not work/fit into this stand.     • Clean Design For Charging Your Phone

I bought in to MagSafe. I got a MagSafe case and I got a MagSafe charger, and I needed a MagSafe stand, and this is what I chose. — FLAW IN APPLE'S DESIGN — Unfortunately, I immediately saw a flaw in the Apple MagSafe design. Constantly taking the charging base on and off will eventually wear down where the cord and charger meet. To fix this, you have to get a base like this one so you don't have any wear and tear on that specific section. — STAND — This stand fixes that flaw by placing the MagSafe in a position where it can charge your phone, but the cord and base don't get repeated touching because everything is held in place. — CHARGING — So here's the thing with this stand. It works 100% perfectly if your phone does not have a case. It aligns with all models and charges them at an accelerated 15W with a MagSafe charger. However, certain cases that are too thick will run into one of two issues: 1) it won't align properly so it may not charge, or 2) it will have a slight gap and will not charge as optimally as it could. I have a thick Castify case that sticks to this, but I found on many occasions that it did not charge at all overnight. You have to align it perfectly with a thick case. From a design standpoint, to fix this, they need to reduce the size of the metal section outside the silicone area so that this metal part does not bump into the camera with a case on. Reducing this by a few millimeters would fix it for most cases. *** UPDATE *** They increased the silicone layer height and now it's perfectly aligned with no gaps and you get a full charge overnight. However, a new issue arose: you can only take your phone off the stand from the bottom, otherwise, if you try to peel your phone off from the top the silicone of the stand comes off the base. It's a little annoying. Just make sure when you take off your phone, it's from the bottom. — SUMMARY — This is a simple and stylish stand for your MagSafe charger. It works well with all phones and for phones with thick cases. You just have to peel your phone off from the bottom so the silicone doesn't come out. Still recommended. ... show more

    • Puck pulls out frequently

I love the low cost, matte finish, and simplicity. However, you need to pull up on the phone from the bottom when removing it. Otherwise, if you pull from the sides or top, the puck pulls itself out partially before the magnet releases. Then when mounting the phone, put the bottom of the phone against the puck and slide it toward the middle of the phone where the magnet can engage. Otherwise, the edge of the camera lens protrusion gets hung up on the rubber preventing it from fully engaging flat. ... show more

I would have given this item 4.5 stars if such an option existed. I love everything about the product except for the one thing - the Apple MagSafe charger pretty frequently comes off and I have to put it back in place, which is not a big deal, but still. Other than that, it's a quality product that is good for Apple's new Stand-By mode, which is the reason I actually bought it. It's also great for Video calls especially when you need both a stand and a charger. Definitely recommend. ... show more

We have two of these at home. The second one I had a little harder time to get put together. What you do is: 1. take the cord of your apple brand mag safe charger and place it through the hole, bringing the charging magnet to the silicone ring. 2. place the wire into the bottom hole. 3. push the mag safe charger into the ring. If the ring pops out of the metal stand, reset the ring into the stand and try again. ... show more
