  • Not your typical putty...
I love this stuff! I’ve tried a lot of puttys (putties? Lol) but never actually owned one. This is my first. It’s not as pliable as the traditional ones you see. However, after manipulating and warming it up it’s quickly the same consistency as the others. It looks like glass in its resting state. Then when you squish it in your hand it becomes more of a matte appearance. I like to make it super thin so it looks like a shard of glass. Unique look and I find it more visually appealing then the typical (boring) putty... IMO =]. ... show more

  • It last longer on diamond painting
If you are a diamond painter, I found this to be a lot easier than wax, putty And anything else this goes on clean it’s not like the putty and leaves putty on top of the diamonds. I am not compensated for my review from crazy Aaron, but I will state that this is the best thing that I found so far plus I’m also heavy handed, and it lasts a lot longer than anything else has. ... show more

  • Too rippable
The putty was great but it was way to rippable. You would just stretch it and it would ripe way to easily. Other wise it was great.

  • Cap on too tight, then warped, putty oozed out everywhere
I have purchased four of these recently. All had defective covers and resulted in putty leaking LITERALLY everywhere. So frustrating (and expensive!).

  • It's great stuff.
This product has very little tendency to stick to my hands (a very important feature for casually thinking while being able to switch back to electronics, crafts, writing, or my coffee mug) The stuff will stay as clean as you are. Over time, finger oils, dust, and whatever grime may be on your seemingly clean hands will darken the color, but if you keep hair and tidbits out of it, this stuff seems to last. It's not all sticky like silly putty for instance, and doesn't pull apart forever creating hair thin strands that lay all over everything and become inextricable. No, if pulled firmly apart, it just breaks after a little ways, and the slower you pull it, the further you can stretch it. Very firm compared to some putties, but it has not dried out. This stuff has an unusual property. Unlike play dough, when let sit no shape is retained, but rather it slowly and inexorably returns to the lowest point available using gravity. This means when you close the lid, it will be flat and smudge free as though never opened in say... 30 or 40 minutes, Which is pretty nice! if touching the lid, it will self adhere and create a bridge, like a stalactite to the lid, so do not be surprised if it's all over the container when you first open it. This stuff despite it's thickness will slow flow like some weird techno sludge in any direction it is let sit. have fun! By the way, 3.2 ounces is about right for a big 2 handed manipulable blob. it's the perfect amount. ... show more

  • Not stretchy
This putty was not stretchy at all when I tried stretching it, it would break.

  • We love this Thinking Putty
If you make your own slime, this is sooooooo much better. Doesn't pickup all the dust, hair, fuzz that homemade slime will easily pick up. My only compliant is that their tins can be really difficult to open. That can get frustrating for my 10 year old. He plays with his thinking putty almost daily, and loves to give it to friends for birthday gifts. Tons of variety! We're really glad we gave up making our own. ... show more
