I have purchased other art boxes for our other daughter in the past and just was so unhappy with the quality. The colors were cheap, markers worked for a short spell, etc. This kit is the opposite of that, it is WONDERFUL! I gave this to my five year old for her birthday and she absolutely was elated. It came with the mini markers which are perfect for small hands, the taller markers, the mini colored pencils, and crayons of course. It also comes with a stack of white paper inside of the box which was nice, though I would still recommend getting more paper or coloring books as a part of a gift if you are gifting it. This is a really great art kit for kids. We got them for ours for Christmas and they have loved them. Lots of colors, easy to carry, very portable for road trips etc. the only reason for the docked star is that the case is pretty flimsy and they are already starting to come apart. The corners are tearing and the “binding” isn’t holding up, which makes it so it won’t hold together and stay closed. ... show more
