UPDATE: Crave USA has contacted me regarding the issue that I am experiencing on Dec 2nd, and I am working with them on addressing the issue with the phone case. This doesn't quite fit the pixel 4a 5G. The phone fits inside of the case, sure. However just the slightest of pressure on the corners of the case from the screen side will pop the phone out of the case. If you were to drop the phone and it land screen side down, there is a good chance that the force of the impact will pop the phone out of the case. I have two other crave cases just like this for my old pixel 2 xl and my wife's normal pixel 4a and they don't do this. They are tight on the corners and they hold up well so this is something specifically with the design of the 4a 5G case (or QA issues in manufacturing) Everything else about the case is great. The fingerprint reader hole lines up well. The textured back feels nice and the color looks great (green) Unfortunately, if the case is loose on the phone, it can't do it's job to protect the phone and that is the whole point of getting a phone case. The media could not be loaded. Update! I have been using the reissues case for almost a month. For the first time since I got the phone I dropped it on the ground. From my pocket to the garage floor. I am short so it was barely 3 ft from the ground. My phone broke. So this less than $ case cost me a pixel 4a5G. Please .. just buy a proven protective case. This case sucks. Pretty loose on the phone. The 2 layers of the phone comes off easily without even trying. I was going to return it but thre away the box so I'll suck it up until decent uag comes up with a case. Extra care and handling for now. Good as useless case. Update: Crave reached out and provided another type of case. I suppose alot of buyers have the same issue. The case they provided was more snug but not as snug as other phone cases. Protection wise I think it is better but the buttons on the side is less responsive with the case on. Nevertheless, it probably gives better protection. Thank you for trying to make it right. ... show more

This case offers very poor protection. love the color [2nd pic]. Seems the inner black protective layer is too hard to provide decent shock absorption. Inspecting the area of fall, it seems the case pops back very easily on the top end and exposes the screen to above the level of the case. This appears to be a design shortcoming, the case should wrap around the screen more and lock securely around the edges so that in the event of an impact the case doesn't end try to pop off the phone and the inner material needs to be bit softer. See image 1, the screen protector is intact, the screen itself is cracked starting at the top left. Needless to say it was a mistake to try anything but a #Spigen case. or a wallet case. Definitely cannot recommend. But most importantly extremely disappointed to have to deal with a cracked screen on a brand new phone going forward. ... show more

I will be returning this case. It is rather nice looking and it has all cut-outs for the Pixel 4a 5G, but it was not made properly. The designers got the measurement wrong or failed to usse enough or and a more pliable rubber padding on the inside of the case, so any slight pressure on the edge of the case causes it to pop out of the phone. I also thought that the texture would provide more grip than it did. ... show more

    • Silent & Screen Shot Function too sensitive

I gave this two stars even though I love the case for two reasons. It in impairs or alters the function of silent mode/volume and screenshot. Because the volume button sticks out so much, usually as soon as I put it in my pocket, it will press against my leg or something and the phone volume turns all the way down or on silent. I think that's the error of the Google pixel as well, but it's accentuated with this case. The second function that I have the most difficulty with is screenshot. Again since the side buttons are so large and sensitive, most the time when I try to take the screenshot I either lock my phone or start messing with the volume. It usually takes me four or five attempts to actually get a screenshot. Other than that it's definitely a durable case, and sturdy. But just frustrating with the button size being so large and sensitive. ... show more

Side buttons are prone to be pushed really easily when just picking up the phone. And the copy that I received does not properly fit the Pixel 4a 5G. There is an ever so slight gap / looseness that makes it feel like the phone can pop out of the case so it doesn't feel that secure. junk case design, the phone shifts inside of the case and when little pressure is applied to any of the corners the phone slightly pops out. Even when just holding the phone to text or to talk the case lets the phone slip out. It does not go completely out of the case but it pops out enough to where the glass is no longer protected by the lip of the case. So if my phone were to fall flat on its face the corner of my phone will just hit the ground and probably crack because of this case. ... show more

    • Good customer service - case okay if you don't need heavy protection

*Edited because the company had great customer service and sent me a replacement case from their strong guard line, which has a thicker plastic lining that fit more snuggly around the phone edges, and the button covers are built into the case instead of the jiggly silver finished ones on the dual guard case. If you are looking for more protection out of your phone case I recommend the crave strong guard over this case. The raised edge was a lot shallower than I expected, it really offers no protection. With a screen protector on, the screen protector edge is higher than the case. I had the case on my new phone for 3 days and a minor drop already resulted in cracking my screen protector. It also feels very loose on my phone, the corners pry off easily and it has popped off when dropped. The "metal" button covers are jiggly and feel cheap. ... show more
