I love this product. It works awesome. Now for my complaint... I had to purchase this twice. The first one showed up and there were greasy handprints all over the inside cover and some of the packaging was torn. It looked like it had been used as the battery was scratched up pretty good and the gun had scrapes as well. When I returned it I ordered another one I had to pay $10.00 more for the same gun. I was and am not happy with that! if anything I should have been given a $10.00 discount just for the inconvenience. Would be nice if I was contacted with some kind of offer in this regard as this product was not cheap. ... show more

The CRAFTSMAN V20 Cordless Impact Wrench, 1/2 inch works great, but I had to use a breaker bar on my lug nuts that are torqued to 129 foot-pounds to get them started. I haven't used it long enough to rate the battery life.

Love the weight, including the variable speed control built into the trigger. The battery will drop charge level but will hold charge as before use. The power is great for heavy use and light duty uses.

This is a great product. It is my first impact wrench. I got it because I had several of the other Craftsman V20 tools and had several batteries (Batteries are the most expensive part of the tool). If you get one family of tools with their batteries, it is best to stick with that brand. Each brand all have different batteries that do not interchange, it is more economical to stick with tools in the same family). The unit is sturdy and heavy built. It breezes through taking off lug nuts. It also takes off nuts that are torqued to 203 ft lbs. In the past I had to use a pull handle with a lot of effort, sometimes I couldn't get them to move. Now, a few seconds with this Craftsman impact. wrench and off it comes. I really love the fact that I am not dragging around an air hose or extension cord. They have really improved battery operated tools since I tried my first Craftsman cordless drill in the 1980s. If you have to take off your wheels a lot, having this unit is a real time and labor saver. If you got tougher jobs like replacing the struts, this unit will speed up the process. When replacing struts, you have to take the wheels off. Then you have to take off the heavily torqued nuts that hold the front struts to the steering knuckle. This unit is so heavy duty and BIG, you will need to invest in a set of impact extensions to reach some nuts/bolts. Been wanting 1/2" impact wrench to help take the strain off my shoulders when changing tires and other times I need to remove/install larger nuts and bolts. This thing is GREAT!! I've had no problems with any bolts I've needed to remove. I still use manual system of fingers and torque wrench for reinstalling lug nuts (85 - 150 lb ft torque, depending on vehicle).
