I have searched, and purchased, a number of short sleeve base layer shirts looking for one that had a compression fit but was not overly constrictive or limited my arm movements too much. This Craft product finally hits the mark for me. The shirt is made of a breathable material and while it has compression it is definitely not overly tight, and in the under-arm area it does not pinch or restrict my ability to move my arms during daily workouts with weights. As mentioned in the title--I consider this to be a good middle ground. If you are someone looking for a compression shirt that will alter your body shape this is probably not the product for you. The fit seems true to size--I am wearing a small and am 5'7", 116 pounds and the shirt fits great. I have now purchased several of these, (as well as the long sleeve base layer version) and am very pleased with them thus far. I highly recommend them. ... show more

    • Warm but Light and Fast Drying Base Layer

Very pleased with this Craft base layer. Purchased it as a lighter and faster drying alternative to my Icebreaker 200 mid weight T Shirts and it is much lighter and faster drying with about the same warmth. Its warmth is enhanced by having a fairly high crew neck, almost like a short mock turtleneck. I have other Craft base layers (Long sleeve layer similar to this one and sleeveless net weave moisture control) and have learned that they run very tight. Usually wear med to small regular Ts so in this case I ordered a large and it is still very snug while not overly constraining. Might even consider an XL if I get another. ... show more

It’s a compression shirt but it’s really too small. Large size is like x-small but fabric quality is great and it has nice cuts.
