Perfect cover for the cold winter! It felt like -1 here in Buffalo today and my daughter was perfectly "cozy". I actually had to take off her sweater when we got to mall because she was too warm. I love that there is a flap that closes to protect her from the harsh winds.

My product arrived today and I'm so excited for it, I've been using blankets and blankets for my babys car seat, it was a hand me down and the little canopy piece that covers the top half was pink so I couldn't use it for my son. This has been a life saver especially with the weather getting colder, now I dont have to pile up a bunch of blankets to keep him warm. It fits snug around my car seat (which Is a keyfit30) and the inside is really soft. The flap that covers his face can be latched to the top by the velcro when not in use and I dont have to remove the whole thing to take him out, I can just unzip it. I initially purchased a very expensive JJ Cole car seat set up and I wanted to love it. it had the fleece lining, the whole sha bang... well, simply said, it sucked. SO I found this traditional style one and was a little hesitant because I had a cheaper fleece one too and hated it, the wind went through it, it hardly covered the seat... etc. THIS ONE, now THIS car seat cover is where it is at. Let me tell you. I have a 3.5 month old, she is squirmy, she pulls on everything and this cover is secure, warm and it doesn't lay on her face. The outer material blocks the wind, but the fleece fuzzy on the inside keeps her warm. The little face hole is perfect, the flappy is perfect w the option to use the zippers to get her out, it fits snug around the sides and it even fits snug around the carrier handle! I love this thing. I'm in rural Iowa where the wind is fierce and air is cold and dry. this thing will be perfect protection for my little one. Buy it. ... show more

It gets cold, VERY cold in Minnesota. As much as you like to avoid having to bring your baby out when the temperature is below zero, you cant avoid it entirely for months straight. This cover works well for the short bursts outdoors from house to car, car to grocery store, and back to house. I used with a heavier lap blanket and my son stayed nice and warm. The only con I have with it is the Velcro doesn't always hold the flap down. And as anyone from MN knows, when its cold, its normally windy too. So you had to stay vigilant to make sure the flap didn't flip open and expose your child to the elements. ... show more

Perfect for a cold 5k walk! The weather has been so weird lately and I had a 5k charity walk scheduled down by the waterfront with 45-50 degree temps. I ordered this last minute to keep my 4.5month old warm. I brought a blanket just in case, but didn't even need it! The fleece lining kept the heat inside so she was nice and toasty the whole time. She runs hot so I had her wearing a long sleeve onesie, pants and socks. No need for a jacket. When I use it in the car, i just unzip the bottom and fold the flap down so she doesn't overheat. We love this thing. We're in New England and i was getting sick of sticking multiple blankets in with her and then trying to shield her from the elements with the canopy on her seat. I kept having moms tell me to get a bundleme but I wasn't comfortable with something on the seat that went under the straps no matter how many times moms told me its fine. I just knew I wouldn't forgive myself if something happened since all the car seat manufacturers tell you nothing behind baby or on the straps that didn't come with the seat. A friend told me to get this and I'm so glad I did! Its just like putting a shower cap on! I do have to unzip it in the car or she gets mad that she's so contained because she's a very nosy 10 weeks old that loves to see everything and have her hands free. I just use this and a light blanket tucked underneath around her body. If I leave it zipped all the way she kicks or pushes it off the seat. ... show more

before i start I will confess that i wanted this in gray and could not find it on Amazon so i settled for black one....and then i found it at walmart of all places, it was the exact same cover for about $9 cheaper and they had it in the gray i wanted so i returned the black. This is just what i was looking for and needed! We just moved from the hot deep south to the cold north and i knew right away i needed something to protect my little on in his car seat. I will admit I was a little nervous getting it after reading some of the reviews but i am so glad i did! I have Chicco Keyfit 30 infant seat and it fits just fine with or without the canopy on the seat and i can still move the handle up and down no problem, and i put my little guy in and he was kicking and moving all around and it didnt move...I love this cover and highly recommend!! ... show more

This is a great product that keeps our baby warm and safe from snow or rain during the colder months. However, you must be careful by not leaving this cover on for too long. We had two incidents where our baby overheated very easily. The little window just isn't enough ventilation, so make sure to remove once you're car is warmed up or when you're inside a warmer area.
