This keeps my babe very warm, I can take him out in 32°F without even a sweater on and he is nice and toasty! It fits both our Britax carseat and our Doona (the canopy needs to be all the way down to fit and be effective). I live in Northern Iowa and this cover is great. It's super windy here and we get a lot of snow. So I like that the elastic keeps the wind from creeping in or blowing the cover up, and the cover itself is water-resistant. We haven't been out for an extended period of time in the snow/rain so I can't tell you exactly HOW water-resistant the cover is, but it does a great job of keeping baby dry for at least 5 minutes in the snow/rain. The flap and the zippers are very handy and work well for us. With a blanket, our baby is very cozy inside. We have the Graco Click Connect Pace travel system for our car seat and the cover fits perfectly and doesn't interfere with the handle or connections to the base. Our son is getting close to growing out of the car seat, though, so while the cover still fits over him really well, you can tell that its days are numbered because it touches the top of his head more than it used to.     • Warm, nice "window" for letting the baby see out, and washable. Fits the Chicco KeyFit30.

Based on the reviews, I got the "Black Quilt" cover, which I couldn't find elsewhere for less. It fits the Chicco KeyFit30 infant car seat. It's expensive, but it's worth it--even if you are just using it a handful of times when going from your car to someone's front door, or into a store or doctor's office, with your baby. You can also leave it on for a few minutes in a cold car while it warms up--just be sure to take it off once the car is somewhat warm, so that the baby doesn't overheat. To avoid overheating the baby, I also wouldn't leave it on when taking the baby and car seat on your stroller to walk around--and if it's that cold out, you really shouldn't (in my opinion) be talking a walk with the baby outside. Anyway, I'm really happy with this. By the way, it does pick up lint, but that's sort of how a plush, dark-colored item like this is going to be. UPDATE: This item worked well until the child it was for was too big for the stroller. We even used it in the winter with our toddler for shorter walks on very cold days (along with winter clothes and blankets). I live in the midwest where it is extremely windy and cold in the winter, and needed a car seat cover that didn't blow off as soon as we got out of the car, and kept my little guy warm. This one is perfect! It fits easily over the carseat (a Britax) like a shower cap and is water resistant so the snow and drizzly rain runs right off, while it is fleece-covered on the inside so just a light blanket is all I need to cover him with. I took a star off because it is pretty much impossible to take my son out of his carseat while this cover is on. I have to take the whole thing off, because the opening when you unzip the bottom flap and lift up the top flap is just too small and he gets stuck. However, I don't mind taking the cover on and off, since you aren't supposed to keep it on while driving anyway so I just put it on when I get ready to take him out of the car, take it off when I take him out of the car seat, put it back on when we are ready to leave, and take it off once we get in the car.
