This is a fantastic bassinet. It took my best friend and I about half an hour to put it together, it was really pretty intuitive and the directions were easy to understand. The padding is firm enough to make it safe for a newborn, but still soft for a baby to lay on. My favorite part is definitely the storage area underneath, you can fit a surprisingly large amount of items and baby supplies down there. I got this for my nephew for when he comes over, so will not be using it as a travel bassinet. I think you probably could though, if that is what you're considering. This combo bassinet is very functional for the infant stage. It’s easy to assemble and isn’t too heavy or bulky. It has good storage for a little diaper changing station. The rocking feature is nice and not noisy with movement. Even though the size is nice for a bedside bassinet I don’t think I would use for travel because it would take up too much space in a car or would be a hassle to lug around to hotels. ... show more

So much intelligence built into one infant bed that actually grows and accommodates the infant.. and WoW!! This knocks it out of the park. Perfect for parents to use it the “in between time” before a little one moves into the nursery.. it offers so much convenient to both during day time naps or night time sleep. However, we chose for Grandparents house.. as it’s so IDEAL!! With new additions of a few grand babies this summer and fall, this x1 bed can meet all the needs by its simple adjustments. With a small footprint and wheel casters- it’s simple to move rooms for sleepovers with grandma or pull into guest room with a guest who has an infant Baby.. it accommodates baby stages perfectly! Easy “slide clip sides” adjust mattress height- allowing the bed to adapt to the needed stage or phase of an infant. Drop side is heavenly for mid of night feedings- you don’t even have to stand up when babé wakes up.. by a simple reach in and grab you can snag babe out of bed and onto you.. thank you!! Optional rocking motion is also a wow factor- something I actually missed when ordering.. this truly includes all the whistles and bells! Bed can also become that “extra set of hands” when you need to set the little one down, but want them near you.. wheel ability lets you bring bed along and keep them close- OR, if they fall asleep, it allows you to move them to quieter space! This is a very nice swinging bassinet for babies/toddlers. You can use it as a bedside sleeper, travel cot, bassinet, or a playpen. It is very versatile for all your needs. It comes with a mattress, breathable net, and the height can be adjusted. With the adjustable height, you will not have to bend over or reach as far which is better for your back. The bassinet also has wheels and is very mobile so you can roll it around instead of having to lifting/carrying it to other spaces. There is a storage area underneath for you to store baby/toddler items. When it is in playpen mode, you won't be able to access the storage area so keep that in mind. This bassinet is awesome for someone bringing home their new addition! The fact that it has the ability to be converted in to different stages or uses makes this a total must have! It is easily assembled and once you have done so you will have a piece of furniture that you can raise and lower in height or setup to provide the best possible sleeping environment for your little one. And not only is this a sleeping area you can also use as a playpen. I put this together in less than an hour all by myself with a 16m old driving me nuts. I couldn't figure out the bottom support bar and the cradle bars were hard to push in. It came with instructions that I had to keep referring to, so eventually I figured it out. You lower the bed all the way down and then when it goes through the side arms, then you go underneath and push the support bar up, connecting it to the bottom of the arms. Then you can raise the bed. I'm going to be keeping it in playpen mode for my 16m to play in when I'm sitting outside or going to the neighbor's house, which isn't baby proof. My toddler loved it immediately. I left the bed portion where he could play in it while I got the legs, storage basket and everything else connected. The inside pattern is white with grey balls of yarn that have sheep faces. The mattress seems waterproof and is well padded. There is a pocket on one side that could fit one bottle. The levels on the arms go from 1-6 and then G for the playpen, which is referred to as Game Bed in the manual. The support bars under the bassinet bed have hooks and snaps to secure it to the bottom storage basket to make the playpen more stable. ... show more
