Things to know: -it is table height seating, not counter height. If you keep it in the kitchen or want it at an island it will be low. -tray is dishwasher safe -stable -easy to wipe down -shoulder straps fit the giant babies too *I don’t know if you’re supposed to use the tray without the white piece underneath. It wasn’t mentioned one way or another in the instructions. If I left it on, it makes it close to impossible to get my baby in and out. The media could not be loaded. Our baby is 18lbs for reference, and fits perfectly in this chair. The straps feel nice and snug and I am not worried about baby falling over at all. It's super solid and sturdy, feels very well built. I would never dream of spending $300+ on the tripp trapp and so I'm very pleased with this affordable and beautiful alternative. The pink color is absolutely stunning in person and the wood finish is well done! I am very pleased with how easy it is to wipe down and clean. So far so good! ... show more

Like others, I was interested in the Tripp trapp but the price tag brought me here. The high chair is very aesthetically pleasing. It matches our home decor and doesn’t stand out like some others. It’s very easy to wipe clean and I appreciate the removable tray which was a big selling point for me. The downsides- it can be hard to get baby in and out of the chair due to the white piece. It’s often a 2 person job getting my son in and out. Another downside is the foam material on the seat scratches VERY easily. My dog scratched at the seat to get some crumbs and now the entire seat has deep scratch marks. Overall, I am happy with this purchase despite the flaws. ... show more

    • Most features are pointless or bad

First the good: - Actually made of wood - Super sturdy - Adjustable, to some degree Now the bad: - The tray, which can be removed, adjusted, etc comes with a plastic over-tray that you’re supposed to use for eating off of. If I wanted plastic products, I would buy plastic. The whole point of a wooden chair is to stay away from plastic! You may be thinking: just don’t use the plastic tray, right? I thought so too, and that’s what I’ve done. However, that’s going to make the wood paneling of the tray be all destroyed quite soon, since it seems to not be made to get wet at all. Every time I wash this, the wood soaks up water and gets all bendy. - The white contraption made to make it safer for babies, or who knows what, makes it reeeeally hard to get baby into and out of the chair. I have since removed that and just use the seatbelt to keep baby in the chair - sturdiness = heaviness, unfortunately. This thing is hard to even move to a different spot around the table (unless you drag it and thus scratch your floors). If I had carpeted floors, I’m not sure what I’d do. - The adjustability of it is less so than advertised. The tray supposedly has two settings, but if you push it in to the second setting, nothing but a stuffed animal can fit in it. There’s no way a human baby can fit in there, no matter how thin they are. The foot rest has similar issues: for very short baby legs, you have to put it so close to the seat that it doesn’t stick out at all, making the baby’s feet actually hit the edge of it, so that it’s better to not have it at all. Overall, this is not necessarily a bad chair, but all the extra “features” (that drive up the price) are terrible or non-functional. ... show more
