We have spent hundreds of dollars on shoes for my husband before. These have surpassed his expectations! They’re so lightweight yet the quality comfortable and durable. We had to return the first boots we purchased because we went off of reviews and sized up. This didn’t work for us they were too big after sizing up. For the price are okay boots. When I first got them, to protect the real imitation leather I use a little bit of saddle soap to soften the leather a bit. But I wasn't expecting us to see a bunch of dirt come off on the rag. I mean this is dirt dirt. Being they are black I guess I don't mind so much but I just wasn't expecting to see all that on my towel after just one application. I normally wear Tony lama or Justin Boots and I needed something in a pinch. Fit true to size for me. ... show more

I loved these boots when I first got them. I ordered a size larger like suggested and they fit great. A few days ago I noticed that the right foot sounded different than the left foot as I was walking down a hallway. Not even three months out of the boots and they are already coming apart. I basically paid $20 a month to wear the boots before they failed. I expected more. UPDATE - The vendor contacted me, explained they agreed that the boots should not have only lasted 3 months, and replaced them free of charge. They didn't have to do that. I really appreciated the good customer service. I moved my 2 star review to a five for that, as now the value is reasonable. ... show more
