I bought this color due to. It says you should go a shade or two lighter than your foundation. When I use this, it was definitely white. I should’ve went darker one shade. I don’t think I will use this COLOR again. I used it once and we try to give it away or it will go in the garbage.

I just turned 40 and noticed my lines getting more obvious as well as, I have spider veins and rosacea. I use hero red correct and this translucent powder and it makes my skin smooth, even and clear. It doesn’t look caked on and blends in perfectly with my skin color. Even though the translucent is white, it actually changes with your skin once it warms up. Looks natural. I was optimistic, as I am an older lady and needed face powder. I have used Covergirl face powder , different formulas as the decades passed. I never write reviews. But this stuff is awesome. I have sensitive dry skin. I’ve been using expensive stuff for years and was just tired of paying the price for something that really wasn’t working anyway. This stuff is incredible. Just like my title says, the translucent color is white in the container, but barely white on the skin. If you're tan, it might show lighter. If you're pale, you can pull off the translucent. If not, I'd suggest getting a tinted one.
