What I like about this cane is that it has like swivel on the bottom so if are walking with it and you have it at an angle you don’t have to worry a lot that slip out from under you while your walking. I got this for my wife to use after hip replacement and initially she loved the cane. After a weeks use, she said the cane would no longer stand up on its own and felt less secure. I then found that the pivot that attaches the foot has very fine plastic threads holding it to the aluminum pole of the cane. These threads stripped causing the foot to be loose. I cut a vertical slit in the pole through the thread section and added a couple clamps to squeeze the pole tightly to the foot pivot. Now the cane is stable and works well. I can't recommend this cane, but in fairness, I did not contact the seller as my wife needed the cane and did not want to wait for a replacement. Update - The seller's customer service contacted me and offered a full refund and told me to keep the cane. As my repair is still holding up I accepted their offer. I didn't have to use this for very long, but it served the purpose for what it was intended. I did like how easy it was to fold in half and it was compact enough to fit in my backpack. I'm 6'2" and 350lbs, I had a flair up of tendonitis occur in my right foot. It got so bad that I could barely walk only by putting weight on the heel of my right foot. Finally decided to get a cane in order to assist me. This arrived fast and was well packaged. The cane was able to support me and provided the support I needed in order to get around the house. the walking cane is very sturdy , it folds up for convienient storage to travel with ,closest to natural walking as the bottom moves . I broke my foot so it was very handy so i didn't have to use crutches all the time especially towards the end of recovery, i can use this handy cane.
