Having a hand me down sofa that’s over 20 years old, sagging is a definite issue. I tried those cheap plastic slats - the ones with the sumo wrestler. No support. Doubling them made no difference. I had been using one of the flat accent pillows but decided I really needed something better. I saw this and decided to give it a try. It came vacuum sealed and compressed. I opened the package and let it sit and expand for 2 days. I didn’t put it under the cushion, but between the coverlet and the cushion. It helps keeping my butt from sagging too deep into the sofa and it’s more comfortable than the pillow I had been using. If you need light support, this is a good accessory. ... show more

I have had it for more than 3 weeks. We have an XL sofa called Alessandra from Ashley and the cushions are very soft and sink too much. Ashley replaced them and even the new ones started to sink. This cushion insert actually prevents sinking and is nice for just one person as it is very small. I placed it on the front end under the seat cushion. May get another one if it lasts at least couple months for the other end of the sofa. ... show more

The middle seat of my couch has been a little sunken in for a while and i had ben looking for something to help even it out with the other seats. This cusion was perfect. Its very thick, the material is very soft so it doesnt feel like you are sitting on a plank of wood and its just the right size.

Maybe my couch is not trashed enough to use these, but I found them very uncomfortable matter which way I switched them in the seat maybe when they’re broken in a little bit but so far I’m not impressed
