I'm really happy with these towels, and won't hesitate to buy them again. I was a little leery after reading some of the reviews saying that the colors were off, they shed too much, they weren't as fluffy and absorbent as they should be, etc., but that isn't my experience at all. The towels are very soft and absorbent. They are just right in thickness and "fluffiness," and all three sets I got have consistent color. I followed the washing instructions, and they did shed significantly more lint than my old towels in the dryer like new towels do, but no more than expected. I didn't notice any shedding on me after a shower, though the towels aren't a dark color, which might make the little shedding they do more obvious. If you're looking for some affordable, Turkish towels, I would not hesitate to buy a set of these. ... show more

I purchased the lilac and the mint ones in November and they are everything one would expect from a towel. They dry just fine, hold up in laundering, are soft and fluffy, and look nice. The trim does shrink a bit, but I did dry them on high, so that's probably my fault. There was a normal amount of lint in the filter afterwards. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! These towels are luxurious and super soft and thick! Be sure to wash a few times to get them to their optimal fluffiness but you will love them! The quality is excellent and they were very reasonably priced for the quality!

    • Why would you buy towels online?

If you buy towels online you have to rely on description and ratings. I took the plunge and I am not satisfied. Overall, these towels are overhyped, they underdeliver. The towels are not thick or dense, just average or below, with average absorbency and definitely not luxurious, and afterwards I realized that the word "Turkish" is used rather loosely. After the first wash the dryer lint filter collected about 1/4-1/2in thick lint layer, quality towels should not lose so much weight and fluff during wash/dry cycle. Note to myself, don't buy towels online, be suspicious of overly glorious item description. Don't trust ratings, the product might have changed over the time, the ratings might refer to the product in the past not present. MOST IMPORTANT: check "most recent" reviews and disregard "top reviews". ... show more
