  • Nice headset from a well known, high quality brand
Color: Carbon
I decided to purchase this headset when I was looking to buy one with a mic for chatting with people I know on Discord. Corsair is a brand I have been purchasing for a while now, so I know they make high quality products. The price was right and it has all the features that I was looking for, including being Discord certified. The headset reproduces really crisp, clear and vibrant audio, is built to last and has a high quality noise canceling mic that allows for all the people you talk to to hear you loud and clear. All in all, I have had no issues with this headset so far and am very happy with my purchase. I highly recommend this headset to anyone who is looking to buy a very good and reliable one for gaming and/or chatting with others. Worth every penny you pay. ... show more

  • Really great sound and mic on a mostly comfortable headset
Color: Arctic Camo
I got this for use with my windows 7 PC (I know, it's past time to upgrade), but I have ended up uses them mostly for work-from-home work calls over Webex and MS Teams. The microphone provides clear and crisp voice to the folks on the other end. It also works well for ADR in my video editing software. The sound for gaming and music is great, though almost too loud. I find myself using the handy volume wheel on the left ear cup to adjust the volume down frequently when switching between different videos on YouTube. The haptic features are interesting and seem to kick in more when there's significant bass in the music or sound effects. I've yet to try these with a real gun fire or explosion heavy game, but I imagine they will be rumbling nicely throughout. My only complaint is that my ears tend to get sweaty after an hour or so, making extended gaming or even movie watching, a bit uncomfortable after awhile. ... show more

  • Great sound needs more comfort
Color: Arctic Camo
Great headset much better than the steelsereis I had for several years that fell apart on me. PRO: Sound quality is really good for a 7.1 headset. Bass which is adjustable is really nice. Detachable mike and the mike boom it comes with is really flexible and comes with a mic cover. Cord is not just a plastic or rubber cord its woven thread which make the cord durable. Ear cushions are comfortable and not overabundance of material used. When unpacking everything had some sort of cover on it from the mic to the USB male peice. Sound is adjustable by increments of 2. CON: The headrest part of the headset comfort is something to be desired. Not as soft and relaxing at it should be for a headset rest on the top of your head. Sound volume knob is not freewheel it's a click roll style which makes it hard to get feedback from the PC to adjust sound sometimes and cant dot it fast. ... show more

  • Great wired headset - excellent for gaming and work
Color: Arctic Camo
My old Plantronics (10 years+) started to give me bad feedback and noise, especially when using the mic. So it was time for a new headset. I wanted something I could use for work and for gaming with my PC. Wireless was not important to me, but I wanted a more comfortable feeling, a very good mic/noise cancelling mic, and good sound quality. I also did not want to spend $200. After searching and researching I settled on the Corsair HS60. I was iffy on it - some of the reviews here were 'meh' and 'not good' and 'broken out of the box' but on sale for $120ish I figured if they weren't any good I could always return them. They came really fast and I were basically Plug & Play. My RAM is also Corsair and the headset works with ICUE but the headset doesn't have RGB lights. I'd have to look into this feature more to see what the headset can do with it. I bring it up because when I plugged in the headset, it wanted me to update the software. Anyway - the headset installed and needed a reboot, and then worked perfectly. The headset is one of the most comfortable I've ever used, it's comfort is leaps ahead on my Plantronics and tiny Logitech headset I use at work. The sound quality is very good, and it's volume range is robust. So far, the mic has been working as I need it, I've used it in over ten work meetings and five gaming sessions, and other than moving the mic closer to my mouth there have been zero feedback complaints or background noise pickups. The headset has some decent noise-reduction, I can't hear my dog whining or my girlfriend crying for help when she drops something unless it's really big/glass. I didn't buy the headset for the haptic response, although it is a cool feature for gaming. I do appreciate I can control how much of the effect comes through. I don't mind that they're wired - since I'm using them at my work/gaming PC. The only thing I hate about them - it only comes in this camo pattern/color. It is not my aesthetic. Lastly, I think there are well worth the $100+, I'd say they are somewhere "well above" your generic $20-60 headset. If you needs are similar to mine, I would highly recommend this headset. ... show more

  • Really neat headset when it works as intended. (Revised)
Color: Arctic Camo
Haptic feedback is really solid in the headset. Unfortunately the right cup randomly started popping and cracking for no reason. Had to send it to Corsair to replace it, as by the time it happened Amazon couldn't replace it or refund me. Was a shame. Update 9/10/21: So the replacement that I received mentioned above just started going out as well. This time, the left cup started popping, and I noticed that in some moments left and right audio was swapped. It was very strange. This was my first Corsair headset I've ever owned, and most certainly my last. I'm not sure if it's the particular build of this model or what. But having 2 separate pairs just randomly stop working as intended is by no means ideal. Especially for the price point. Could just be a coincidence I suppose, but for $130?.... I've never had headphones just... stop working as intended. Ever. I've always taken significant care of my products. I truly wish I could just get a refund, but because of how long it's been, it's clear that that's just not possible. ... show more
