I started taking Cordyceps to help balance adrenal function after coming off of birth control for 25 years. I hoped to see improvement in energy levels and libido. I am 42 years old, no major health concerns (allergies, chronic back pain). I work out 4-5 times/week. I do feel like I have seen a difference in my workouts and stamina after taking the supplement, not sure if I can see a difference in sexual function/libido. Of course, stress has increased in my life over the past 6 weeks, making that difficult. I do feel like it's worth continuing the supplement because I believe in adaptogenic herbs and realize that without it, I may have been feeling worse. I will say, despite smelling like a health food store, this product is actually pretty great. I'm only 30 so I can't really comment on supporting longevity, but I've seen a definite increase in both athletic ability and cardio capability. I've never been able to run because it feels like I'm going to have a heart attack and takes a decent amount of time for my blood pressure to go back down. After taking this and starting a couch to 5K program, I'm proud to say I can run at least 1 minute and walk 1 minute 5 times in a row and that is unheard of for me. I also have a bit of impotence due to medications I'm taking (sucks for a 30 year old right?) but almost immediately I noticed that it wasn't as much of a problem anymore. I'm not sure if this is the reason but I noticed a slight uptick in energy and in the sexual department right after I started it. ... show more

I'll admit I was skeptical of the effect Cordyceps could have on my metabolism and health. I am officially a proponent. After 2 months of recommended daily dosage, I can feel a WORLD of difference. I exercise by power walking at first with no weight, now with 30-50 pound weights I can walk over six miles without getting winded now! I attribute some of this to the exercise regimen, but I fully believe that I'm going further and not being as "winded," due to the cordyceps! I quit smoking 2 years ago and my lungs haven't felt "quite right" since. Within the last few months, I believe my overall lung capacity has increased and that uncomfortable tightness in the chest is diminishing Pills are pretty easy to swallow for gelatin and aren't "Horse Pill" size, they are much smaller than I expected. They go down easily with water. Delivery was super fast and everything was as described, when arrived.     • Great Cordyceps at a great price
I have been using several supplements from Doublewood and was happy to see that they had just added cordyceps to their lineup. I ordered a bottle through Amazon and had it quickly. I was pleasantly surprised to get such a large quantity for such an affordable price. I use cordyceps for the respiratory benefits that it provides to those of us who suffer from asthma. The Doublewood product has proved to be high quality and provides the same benefits of other cordyceps products at a much more affordable price tag. I have been taking two capsules twice a day and have enjoyed more relaxed breathing as well as the better energy that cordyceps provides.     • if you are estrogen sensitive avoid
noticed immediately weight gain and flabby thighs from the estrogenic effect of Cordyceps. May not happen to all but it is a hormone regulator and could your spike estrogen level too bad because it does have some good benefits
