Installation was VERY easy, small window in my laundry room. 5 stars for that. They also darken the room, which I wasn't particularly looking for but the description fit what I needed. Color says gray however I thought it would be a lighter. Still works with my counter top so, okay. Description said plantation, vinyl, faux wood. Now, in no way was I expecting "real" wood but maybe some ripples or *something* to give the illusion. Nope, they just look and feel like plastic, bendable, vinyl. I think the price is a little high for the product. Note I did not put the cover on. I failed to measure from the top to allow for the cover. It clips on easily but as you can see, I didn't leave room for it. I think it looks fine without so I didn't start over (although it would have been easy enough, just lazy!) The media could not be loaded. Plantation blinds aren't cheap in the first place, but I think these are really good quality for the price! They are really sturdy and look beautiful. There were also very easy to install. Two of the three I bought weren't working when I first got them. The slats weren't opening. I attached a video to show what the problem was. I guess during shipping the rod slid out of place. I do plan on ordering more of them. For that price you can't go wrong! ... show more

Nice blinds but be careful when installing on windows with a lot of sun & heat. We had curtains up and the blinds warped. Had to get replaced and remove the curtains. After that, they worked as expected and looked great.
