I was skeptical at first, after all, I've never heard of this brand before, but I have to admit, most top end brands were 3x the price with all that came with this set and that goes a long way for me when it comes to value of any purchase. So far, the quality and design of the ratchet feels solid. There's definitely weight to this tool. Nothing feels cheaply made here. Great that it comes with two lithium batteries, a charger, sockets and a cool carrying case. I believe, in my honest opinion, that this product will suffice my needs in the engine compartment with great ease. My first ratchet slipped a lot when turning in a bolt. KIMO replaced it with fast delivery. I have been using it at work, I'm a mechanic, and it works great. There is enough torque to get a bolt just past snugging. This allows me to use a torque wrench afterwards without interfering with the torque setting to get the proper tightness. I highly recommend this product and again, kudos to KIMO for fast service. I purchased my KIMO ratchet on March 7, 2022 and today is November 2, 2023. ... show more

I've used the ratchet 2 years with weekly use. The variable speed is good and not too fast preventing thread galling. Would have given 5 stars but 2 of the 4 small screws fell out that hold the green housing to the ratchet head and the other two were not secured. This thing has worked great for me so far, the batteries charge relatively quick, and it works well, the added sockets are a nice touch. The only complaint I have so far is that it always smells like melting plastic everytime you use it, especially if you use it alot.

For the price I didn't expect much. This was better than expected. If I could do 4.5 stars overall I would. Small batteries and I hope I can replace them when the 2 included won't charge anymore. And the price for them is not 2x what I paid for the kit like all other cordless tool makers charge. If you need torque the battery will drain fast but zipping on and off nuts and bolts 15mm and under it does well enough. ... show more
