My house sits on a quarter acre and we have the yard all fenced in. My husband was able to paint the entire fence with this sprayer and only had to refill twice. It holds a lot of paint.     • Great little paint sprayer for touch up work or small jobs.
The media could not be loaded. The Xynover paint sprayer did a really good job touching up the acrylic latex paint on my house where the line trimmer has stripped the paint away over the years. I was dreading having to paint in the dirt and getting my brush full of sand and debris, it was going to be an unpleasant job. Using the paint sprayer made the job a snap, and I got it done in 1/3 the time it would have taken with a brush. The sprayer did a nice job with the latex paint and I did heed the advice of the instructions and made sure the paint was thin enough using the included viscosity gauge. This paint sprayer uses forced air to blow the paint onto the surface, rather than a piston mechanism, so having the paint thin enough is important. The overall mechanism is fairly simple, and the parts that are in contact with the paint come apart from the motor assembly with just a push of a button. Everything unscrews and comes apart easily so it was easy to clean. A little warm water and light scrubbing got all the latex paint out. I happened to have a couple DeWalt 20V MAX batteries from my drill, so I decided to give this paint sprayer a try. The first battery lasted about half the house, spraying 2 to 3 inches along the bottom. I only have the 1.3Ah small lithium pack from a small drill, so if you have larger packs, you will definitely get a lot more time out of your pack than I did. But, the unit got the job done for me even with the small battery packs. The paint carrier holds 1000ml of paint which is enough to do a small area. Don't think that you will be able to use this device to paint your whole house because it is not suited to such a large job. If you have a small touch up job like I did, this unit is perfect. For the price, this unit was well worth it as I didn't get my brushes dirty and it did a good job a lot faster. ... show more

    • Good for Painting Furniture
First off: perfect fit with Dewalt battery, making the battery life last long enough and easy to switch out mid-project. Sprayer is decently even, though there have been some minor clogs so I would recommend having a sizable drop cloth or area to spray clear the head if this happens. This little thing is so affordable for what it can do and just did a good job at coating a refurbished table with little nooks and crannies that a paint brush or roller wouldn’t tackle with near as much precision, and there was no bubbling or dripping on the sanded down pine…would recommend extra sanding if using on wood furniture for a truly even application. Coverage is lighter, which I like, but will require an additional coat/pass or two for more pigmented colors. Hey, at less than fifty bucks and with a few hours’ time, this little paint sprayer just paid for itself by way of a brand new looking table. I like this a lot for smaller projects, but am unsure how it would do with a large scale outdoor project due to how often thicker paint clogs and needs clearing but hey, I could be wrong. ... show more

This sprayer seems to work well with various types of paints. This sprayer is lightweight and doesn't have a ton of extra components to work. No need for a compressor or lines. This sprayer includes different nozzles and cleaning materials. It comes apart pretty easily to clean. No issues there. The paint comes out consistently and flows well. No spotting or blotches. It's an awesome sprayer if you are already in the Dewalt ecosystem. ... show more
