I had to change the axles on our crosstrek. I used the 1/2 impact for everything other than the calipers (not enough space for the sockets). 20 Lug nuts, 8 Strut nuts, and 4 axle nuts (32mm at 160ft lbs tq) this thing did it all no problem. Tool works fine but I doubt it would be good for ever day mechanic use. I’m just a part timer and only use it occasionally at the farm. It does work with Milwaukee batteries just fine.

I already have a plug-in impact wrench. But, I do all of my own mechanic work on our family cars. I wanted this tool to take to junk yards. I own a Milwaukee impact driver and the batteries fit and work perfectly on this DIYtoolifz wrench. The light isn't very bright, but if I needed it in a dark area it would probably get the job done. My son drives our old Sienna van and the rear axle beam cracked. So, I took this wrench to the local junk yard and used it to free the beam bolts and to easily break the old rusted bolts on the junk yard van's exhaust. I used it to install the new bolts when putting the beam in my van. As another reviewer noted, it has what I can only assume is a safety feature that shuts it down when using it. As I loosen a tough bolt, it works, shuts off and then you can trigger it again. It hasn't affected the performance. It's just a bit odd. But, again, to me it seems like it may be some sort of safety feature. It happens whenever it's under real load. When I use it to take off lug nuts, same deal. It loosens the nut, shuts off, then I trigger it again to fully remove the nut. It has always continued to work. I wish I had it years ago. For the current price of $90, this thing has easily paid for itself in the couple of weeks I've had it. ... show more

The shipping was quick ill give them that. The tool does use a milwaukee m18 battery that's nice The forward drive works great a very strong tool but the reverse don't work every time it's like the switch won't let it go in reverse if you mess around with the reverse switch it'll finally engage. I really need this tool I'm hoping that it will work it's way to operating right after I use it awile. ... show more
