I rarely ever write reviews but in this case I feel compelled to let others know that this is a great quality and high performing tool. I was skeptical that something at this price point can rival a $200+ name brand tool. I am pleasantly surprised. As one reviewer indicated, it will loosen the bolt but you can't keep the trigger pressed to remove it all the way. You have to keep pressing the trigger for 2 second bursts to continue rotation. No big deal as the main reason to own this is to loosen the super tight bolts for removal. Overall excellent tool with a very high quality finish and feel to it. Well balanced as well. Main reason I bought this is because of its compatibility with existing Dewalt batteries and it delivers on that front. I have no idea how it will stand up after 5-10 yrs of use but it looks just as well built as any other name brand tool. I would only be using this occasionally maybe couple of times a month on average so it should be fine. I just used it to loosen a couple of lawn mower blades and a spindle. The spindle nuts were so jammed it sheared all of them off which was fine for me since I'm replacing the unit with a new one anyways. ... show more

Order it for my dad and best deal i give him kinda heavy (for me) but powerful the you dont need to be using it for long, ( i used it to change a tire and i didn't break a sweat 😅👍) used for almost a year with no issues excellent choice for a torche and affordable price

    • Decent power but has an annoying quirck

Works great with the rest of my dewalt batteries, I just didnt want to splurge on the dewalt impact at over twice the price as this one. It has decent power, more than my aging bluepoint air impact. It struggled but ultimately prevailed on a harmonic balancer bolt on a GM 5.3l. Nothing else I've needed it for has given me an issue. The one annoyance: when reversing after it breaks the bolt free it turns off after a second or so. For example with lug nuts, it'll ugga-dugga them loose then stop. I have to press it again, sometimes twice for it to fully spin the lug nut off. If its impacting it will go forever but once it breaks free it'll stop. I don't know if this is a feature or a bug but I don't like it. I'll deal with it for this price though. ... show more

I’m waiting on parts to come in for my Mac/Dewalt 1/2 gun and need something to get be by for a couple weeks. Used it all day long today at work as a full time auto technician. No issues, seems to have close to the same power as my Mac 20v. I plan on using this at home and backup for when my main one has problems. Although not a real Dewalt or Milwaukee, this tool has quite a bit of power for lug nuts and works with all Dewalt batteries. Those one thing I do not like, is that being left handed and the weight of the tool much like Dewalt, it slides down on your hand and the reverse button gets selected due to hand position. Once again, lefties take it right through the leg of their shorts on this one as always on tools!!😁 ... show more

This impact wrench worked great for me. You can use it with less than 20V batteries but the 20V makes this gun work best. For $62 you can't beat it because it save you a lot of work, on just the lug nuts alone you feel as though you made a good decision.

Purchased the tool on March 25,2024 and received it the next day. Opened the box two days later to do functional testing. Immediately the first issue was noticed. The forward/reverse switch does not function properly. Forward works, middle/off/neutral locks the trigger and reverse - trigger locked. Second issue the battery indicator on the battery status/speed control pad does not properly display battery level. This false representation of battery life and a flexvolt battery will end expen$ively! Reached out to tool support for warranty info and reported issues. 1 year warranty and Tool support remedy was trying to send me a video on how to use the tool, cleaning steps the forward/reverse switch and lastly a "thank you we'll notify quality control along with reaching out to the amazon team for further correspondence". Do Not Buy!!! Save your money and go with a better brand like DeWalt or Bosch to name a couple. Do Not Buy!!! ... show more
