  • Works great and surprised on the battery life.

This ratchet rules! It is durable and has a long battery life. Definitely worth the money. It was a big help replacing a clutch.

  • SAVES TIME AND MONEY
Size: AB7331-2 battery pack
My new favorite tool. Pros: - Saves you between $100 - $200 dollars from Big names like Milwaukee, DeWalt, Ryobi, Makita, or Ridgid. - Works for at least *2 hours continuous use per battery - Gives good leverage Cons: - Doesn't have the fancy brand name. (Might not match the color of your tool set) - Battery may not last as long as other brands. I have used this for the past 3 months every weekend and some days of the week. I removed all my spark plugs the other day using this tool and had to pull them in and out multiple times to test for a problem. This thing kept running without needing a recharge. I LOVE IT. I took a risk on this low price because I did that with my angle grinder and it went well. This is another great idea! ... show more

  • Look out Milwaukee
Size: AB7331-2 battery pack
I have owned two of these, first one was left out in the rain twice, assumed it would never work again, so I bought a new one, after some persuasion the original one started to work again, have been using it for two years since it got a bath, it finally quit completely took it apart tried to short the motor, not even a buzz,,not a complaint, my fault, now I still have the brand new one, and two batteries from the old one, I have recently disassembled a ford 5.4, this is surely not the strongest, I had to give it some help on manifold bolts, and a few others, but it sure comes in handy once you break a bolt loose, instead of fingers, it sure is nice, compare it to a Ford 5.4, I think I would wrather have this cordless ratchet, I might buy another one.(not a 5.4) up date, the newest of the two (old one was not a good swimmer) I am going to buy another one, I have a jerk that my daughter married (self proclaimed genius) only buys Milwaukee power tools, Craftsman hand tools, I buy Harbor Freight, I do have a set of Makita, drivers, jig, and circular saw, they are great, I only paid 50% price drop for AutoZone commercial customers, other wise no way would I pay their price, I want to will my kids a little bit, I am 70 years old, have to finish two more car projects, then that is it, I still have a complete S&K set I probably bought in the mid sixties, when I found out how expensive they are now, I got 'em all together, cleaned 'em up, they look like new, nearly 60 years old, all back in their original tool box, tools used to come in a nice 3 or 4 drawer steel box, now they come in blow molded plastic, which usually break in two after a little sun exposure, I will buy this ratchet again and again, probably buy 5 for the cost of one milwaukee ... show more

  • Over Time, Worked Very Well
Size: AB7331-2 battery pack
I got this several years ago because I need to dismantle a hybrid battery. Overall, about 40 bolts/nuts needed to be removed. Using an ordinary wrench would have taken forever and would have taken a toll on my wrist. This thing worked beautifully. For $75, it was a great buy. Over time, however, I have used for multiple oil changes, brake jobs and radiator fixes. It shows no signs of wearing out yet so I say yes! Buy this. It won’t replace an impact wrench but it will find its place in your toolbox. ... show more

  • Good Ratchet for Moderate intensity
Size: AB7331-2 battery pack
I bought this after doing a review of all of the available motorized ratchets, to assess which might meet the needs of a weekend auto mechanic (hence the first person). I've used everything from Black and Decker to Makita to Milwaukee to Husky tools, as well as Harbor Freight, all of which have their pro's and con's. After looking extensively and trying out some of the various options from friends and the stores, I settled on the Aoben, based on cost, durability, the two batteries, and the 2000 mAh ratings (as well as the various reviews out there). When I got the kit, I tested the amount of charge on one of the batteries, assuming they'd be close to one another. The other one I put on the charger to see how long it would take to charge. Battery 1 was able to get through an afternoon of wrenching, pulling out various bolts from from the engine and transmission of an air cooled vehicle. I'd say I used it all told about a half hour, dropping it twice when reaching for some tight areas under the hood. (I used it outside of the motorized aspect as well - it's a 'regular' ratchet wrench as well). No issue with that. It still had charge, and when I put it on the charger it took about 35 minutes to fully charge. The smaller head was able to get into some cramped areas, which was greatly appreciated particularly when one can only 'feel' but not 'see' the nut. Battery 2 took about 48 minutes to charge (from red to green on the indicator), and the swap was fairly easy - it's a bit tight for the batteries, but only took a modicum of pulling to get it out. The functionality was no issue with both the tool and the metric sockets that came with the kit. I was also using my old hex attachments which were longer, and I didn't have any issues with those either. I did notice I scraped the plastic just above the battery when the tool got caught on the hood brace, but otherwise the two drops (from about waist height) didn't seem to cause any issue. Of note this is made in China - like virtually all of the other motorized ratchet wrenches I looked at (Makita and Kimo being the exceptions). At least for a weekend mechanic, the Aoben works well for what I need it for, and potentially even more than that. It isn't as heavy as some of the others, it's well balanced, and as noted, it can fit into some tight areas which others might not be able to do so. Although I wish the finish was a bit better (that plastic scrape was my fault, though), I'm otherwise pleased with the tool, the batteries, and the sockets. It's high value for the price. ... show more
