    • Great car detailing kit
One issue first--most folks who are serious about car detailing will never, ever use a device like this. They will tell you that it creates 'swirl' marks in the finish which are impossible to get out once established , and that it can be tough on the paint. You will need to consider that for yourself before using a mechanical polisher. My opinion is that if it is used gently, it's great and allows you to polish your car much quicker than by hand and with arguably better results. For me, I am not concerned. I hate detailing my car and am too cheap to have someone else do it. Plus, if you ever look behind the local car wash at the guys doing any detailing, they are using an industrial version of this gizmo--so they don't care either. This used to be called a 'random orbital' polisher--meaning that the polishing pad moves randomly as it spins, theoretically minimizing swirl. I can polish my car quickly and well with this and get back to doing something I enjoy better. You get a zipped soft case with the machine, two batteries and charger (only charges one battery at a time and uses an old fashioned barrel plug to plug directly into the battery--so do do not lose the charger.) You get some velcro applicator pads, a polishing bonnet and some gloves. Not sure about getting replacement supplies though I am sure Amazon has them somewhere. The battery is good for a solid half hour--and then, if you have charged it and need it--you have a second battery. It's really sufficient to do a couple of cars in a row if you are having an overly ambitious moment. You do not want to put too much pressure on the paint with this as it is powerful and should be used to polish and buff--not sand. The machine itself is really good quality, feels solid in the hand and is not tiring to use. This could be gifted to a car lover. Great for small detailing jobs, headlights, light scratches, that sort of thing. It is definitely not a professional buffer. Battery life kinda sucks and it's definitely not fast enough. It does not come with any polishing compound. But, it's cheap and for the price it does a pretty good job

One of my least favorite things to do, is to put wax on my car. It takes a lot of elbow grease and time and effort. When I saw this car buffer polisher, I thought that I would give it a try. I really like the fact that it has replaceable batteries, and that it is cordless. It is going to make my job a lot easier when I go to work on my car. In someways, I wish that the pads were a little bit bigger, but I can definitely get the job done with this one. It is nice and small, and compact. I haven’t had the chance to really check out the battery life with this, but the batteries do recharge pretty quickly. There are a lot of accessories that come along with it, most of them seem to be very useful. Although, I have to admit, there is a little apron that comes with. It seems pretty useless to me. Other than that, I think this will be a really nice tool to have to work on my car, and make it all shiny. For the money, I think this is a good deal. ... show more

Joey Here! For many years I used a 10" orbital buffer. Dragging the cord around was my biggest downside when polishing or waxing my car. This cordless buffer is my new upside. It is light and effective. It also will get into areas the old orbital buffer could not easily do. There are pads, discs and covers for every need from applying wax or polish to buffing the surface with ease. I really like the sanding option. The entry door to our condo has settled and the top of the door rubbed the frame when we would open or close it. The sand papers of different grades allows me to sand the door and eliminate the rubbing. The duel batteries are a nice touch allowing more than enough time to completely finish the job. I’ve purchase other buffers and I’ve never gotten one that came with a splatter apron, very nice touch! This one feels balanced and has nice speeds and power. The unit was smooth to handle did not try to wander I only compound a panel to test it and it really worked well is great not having to deal with a cord for power.. I just wish the power tool companies would come up with a universal battery and charger as I pro have 20+ different one in my shop it can get confusing . The media could not be loaded. With 21 volts (multimeter read 20.1 DC Volts) this cordless buffer polisher actually has the power to buff paint with a 6” orange pad, as seen in the video, unlike most 12volt ones. It is actually usable for paint correction. It came with a large number of accessories including foam pads, wool and microfiber pads, sanding disks, an apron, gloves, a charger, a soft case, and 2 batteries labeled 21volts / 1500mAh. The description says 2000mAh, I’m sure sure which is correct. This thing is very light, quiet, and easy to use. It has a simple one button control for turning it on/off (long press) and changing speed from 1 to 6 via short presses. The display shows battery life and speed.
