I have used it for polishing my engine hood and dash window. I was impressed by its power and endurance. I spend only 1/3 power for finisihing the job. I would say it could be able to finish a whole car with the two batteries. That quit impressive for cordless tools. However, I do have some suggestions. 1. The pads given are very very uncommon. The sponge pads need to work with the covers to work correctly. But the instruction does not say this. I had to asked some experienced detailers to figure it out. 2. Pros: • Variable speed settings • LCD display • 2 batteries & Charger • Polishing pads (may not be suited for cars surfaces) • Lightweight and balanced (2lbs) • Cordless Cons • See pic (Pokusger?) • Power button and speed selection are tricky to use. They could have made the buttons larger and more responsive • Pads are generic and cheap • Run time 20 minutes per battery • How to use is lacking • Long-term no battery replacement options Overall (4 stars) A good polisher for home users, limited use case for professional detailers (because of the speed control and lack of button response). It works as described and offers varying speed settings dependent on the application. I would recommend testing it on a small area or on a metal painted surface (not your car) that you don’t mind if you make a mistake. Make sure you use the proper speed and pad for automotive use. Also, look at purchasing quality polishing pads. The cloth pads and wool pads test them (caution for use on paint). The included sponge pads I wouldn’t use on the exterior of your care. I was so excited to order it as i am starting my car detailing journey. I used it on the same day it arrived and was very very satisfied with the results. On a medium speed the batteries lasted me the completed polishing session. Although i haven't used any machine in the past and have always hand polished my car but the machine feels very sturdy in hands. It feels like it will last long. The only complain i can have is the pads could have been better. I tried using the supplied pad but they are a but aggressive on the paint. However, cant really expect everything at this price. I will order and try some premium pad in the future. ... show more

    • Decent product, slightly incorrect description.
Overall I like this product. I have been doing automotive detailing either professionally or for my personal vehicles for many years. I generally use corded tools, so getting a small sized portable battery device was a nice addition to my tool chest. The pads it comes with are basically junk. I wouldn't trust them on the paint of my car. They're fine for headlights. That's it. I think they're a bit aggressive and rough. It also includes a few sheets of 180 grit sand paper that could be nice for some odd jobs - but it's a strange pack in. Keep it away from your car of course.... It includes 2 batteries that appear to be specific to this device - so once they no longer hold a charge, this could possibly end up in the trash - which is a shame.. Which brings me to a few things wrong in the description - The batteries are 2ah. The package and description says 1.5ah. Not a problem but worth noting. The package and description state "6 speeds" - it actually is 10 speeds. There's also an odd claim that "24/7 customer service" is available. That's of course a funny joke. Maybe they mean 24 hour turn around time on emails.... Powering the device on/off and adjusting the speed is done via very poorly designed touch panel on the back, instead of an actual ON/OFF SWITCH - which is MUCH more appropriate for power tools. The on/off screen button on this doesn't work very well, and you find yourself pressing it repeatedly to turn on, and unfortunately OFF too. So you're holding a high powered spinning disc in your hand that you can turn off - and if you lift it off the surface of the vehicle while its powered on you're likely to fling polish in all directions, or throw your pad. This same unfortunate LED screen is used to adjust the speed, 1-10, instead of a basic rotating dial. There was no need to try and reinvent the wheel here and use some sort of digital touch screen, when physical toggles allow you to turn it on, off, or change speeds without even having to look at the device. It's the safer option. I give it 3 stars because it's powerful, portable, and does what it is supposed to do quite well - despite the bad controls and cheap included pads. Get some decent Griot or Meguiars 5" pads and go to town. Nice for small areas that are hard to fit your standard size 7" polisher in. Overall good product with some bad engineering / user interface choices. And leave out the landfill pack in polishing pads next time. ... show more

    • Works really well and is surprisingly powerful
I share a house with classic motorcycle collector who is obsessive about detailing for shows and exhibitions. There are also multiple collector automobiles here so, detailing them is constant chore. I figured that this would be a good basic unit that would at least save some time, even if it wasn't top pf the line. But I was pleasantly surprised when I received it, it works incredibly well! The battery on this is great, it lasts through a whole detail on my car without a recharge. It also includes 2 batteries, so there is always a fully charged back up. The polisher has variable speeds and settings and the kit includes multiple sponges and heads. I have found that the included sponges are not really super high quality, however it is really easy to fit any head on it you need. so that is not an issue at all. The size is perfect, most standard cans of wax are large enough to let you simply insert it in the can to apply product. It really does and excellent job detailing and polishing and it saves a load of time. I do wish that the power button was a little higher up the handle though, its in a position where its really easy to accidently turn off the polisher during normal use. ... show more
