Purchased these bras for running and I'm so glad I did because I love them. Well made, soft material, and excellent support. I could do without the removable padding (easy fix), but I always wear a tank over them, so the padding is irrelevant for my use. If you wear a shirt over the bra, the zipper does create a bump that isn't very attractive but I'm more about comfort and fit at my age. If you wear the bra without a tank, that are very cute and look expensive. Easy to put on and take off, but the hooks aren't as easy as I thought they would be, maybe I just need to get used to the small cloth holders. I wear a 36B, 5'6" 160, athletic build and the medium fits great. I may have been able to swing a small, but the medium works and is comfortable. I like my bras tight for running and my chest doesn't move at all with this bra. Only washed once, in the washing machine (inside a protected bra bag) and the pads stayed in place. I definitely recommend these bras if you're looking for extra support or even just a cute work out outfit, especially for the price. ... show more

I love these and these are my third pair. My first pair was a little tight on my ribcage as I have arthritis, it hurts in the beginning of the day. So, I will go up an additional size again for the next one. That would be 2 sizes up from the original size I normally wear. The cups are fine, it's just the band tightness. They are very, very comfortable in every other way. I have to wear shorts performance style clothing at work and I am not bothered during the day with these bras like I am with a regular bra. I wear a 38-40 band size The only change I would make is adding an additional flap to cover the top side of the zipper. This style only covers the bottom side ... show more

First, mwashed (remove pads, zip it, non-hot water, low suds, non-harsh detergent) & it was fine. Second, wore this bra for entire, non-work out, low activity day & it was firmly (not softly) comfortable. Third, wore for 1-hr workout, incl. recumbent elliptical, several weight machines, & free weights. Very firm support, band didn't curl, bra didn't ride up, no "overspill" of breasts at top of bra. Not the most flattering under clothes as zipper is quite prominent; not "shapely.". Support yes, style not so much. Because it is such a strongly constructed bra, some may find it a bit difficult to zip up. Zipper locks securely; there's no cover for it at the top end. There are two hooks under zipper to provide extra security. I found it easier to first start the zipper & zip to the first hook (not a hook & eye), hook it, continue to zip to next hook, hook it, ,& then zip it closed, locking the zipper. I wanted a serious, secure, front-closure bra; maybe I got more than I needed in support. Like that the band doesn't curl or ride up. ... show more

I am an equestrian, with a 36-38C bust. I ride all year long, in the cold and in the hot humid summer months. I don't like sports bras that squish my chest flat, or are too tight across the shoulders, or have a the under bust band that rolls up (causing me to adjust it all the time), and is easy to take off, especially on those hot stick days...where trying to pull one of those non-clasp/zip styles over your head, is nearly impossible! I also don't like shoulder straps the come too close to my neck or pull down on my shoulder, that is uncomfortable AND it doesn't look nice under regular clothes with a v neck or wide neck opening. That being said, I am always on the lookout for a new style that looks easy to put on and easy to take off. Something that is flattering and can be worn under regular street clothes to make it easy for me to do a quick change to my riding attire. Which is basically just jeans, t-shirts, sweatshirts or tank tops, depending on the season. So this bra has going for it is the shoulder straps, the ease of wearbility and the under bust band seemed wide enough and sturdy enough to not roll or annoy or feel like a vise on my ribcage. What I didn't like was that it was NOT flattering...made me look like I had one big bust...and flat flat flat. I'm an older woman, and my bust is not huge, but its not small. I do need the support, especially when riding, to prevent too much bounce when riding. But I also would like my chest to look attractive, not flat and square. So I probably won't be keeping this bra. Sorry. For size, I usually find that I need to choose a large in sports bras to avoid the vise like feel that sports bras can give me. This one, though I think I could probably have gotten away with a medium. and had I decided to keep it, I would exchange it for a medium. I noticed a little "side-bust" that was not very attractive, so even more reason to get a medium. I like the shoulder straps, they are very pretty. And I love the zipper closer. Seemed to be very comfortable and easy to maninpulate. Easer that trying to hook behind the back clasps at least. If you don't care about your sports bra being flattering but you want good support, this seems like it would be the bra. ... show more

I really like this bra, it holds me in place. The only thing I don't like is the zipper sticks out threw my shirt instead of being hidden.

I bought the blue grey, it was a really nice color, not that it will be seen :D The band around the bottom is comfortable, no digging in and does not roll. I like the crisscross straps on the back, supportive and does not pull on the neck and shoulders like others. It has two s clasp on the inside of the zipper so that it will insure that the zipper does not come unsecured. Also a cover piece of material at the bottom of the zipper to insure there is no rubbing. I did remove the extra pads, I didn't think they were necessary. Will buy again ... show more

I was really excited about this bra. When it came it was super comfortable and super cute. Unfortunately, when I zipped it up it came undone but then I was able to get it to stay up.
