Very bright & easy two wire install (since I already had a smaller AWG). It’s either 16 or 18 gauge. Deducting a star because it covers the top quarter’ish inch of the license plate, which makes my plate look like it’s from California. I will drill higher holes in my plate, but it will be tricky because the bottom of the plate has limited space due to the weld on my after market rear bumper. For the price I expect to get a year out of it. I’m ok with that. Also, as someone else said, would be nice to have a metal bracelet. ... show more

It’s a great light. I mean they’re not long works good lights bright BUT.. might be a little too bright. I just put some tape on it to tone it down a little other than that works just fine. Gotta clip the old wire tho and wire by had just fyi

One of my license plate lights stopped working due to a wire issue. They were kind of pathetic anyway as far as illumination is concerned. I installed this led strip light and now I can see the entire plate. Easy install by splicing into my trailer hitch harness and securing it using the top two license plate fasteners. Well I purchased this on Nov 15 .....2 days ago it started performing it's own disco show....I will say it is bright ....and being so bright flickering like it was ..well I didn't want to get unwanted attention from the police as I go to work at 3 or so in the morning.,...so it's been replaced ....I'm still eligible for a refund for this but for 8 bucks it really isn't worth my time ...... ... show more
