I've never been so appreciative of Amazon same-day delivery as when I ordered the Copper Compression Wrist Brace - Copper Infused Adjustable Orthopedic Support Splint. It brought immediate stability to my sprained wrist and lessened the pain I was experiencing. It was a huge help to have this before I was able to see my doctor, and I wasn't able to drive to a drugstore to purchase one locally. My wrists are very small, and the small size fits perfectly. The two Velcro straps are effective and strong, and it is very helpful that we can choose how tight to make the compression. The material is soft and does not bother me when I sleep. The thumb access has plenty of room so that we don't hurt our wrist when putting on the brace. I can very easily move my fingers and thumb and can even easily type, and it doesn't bother my wrist sprain. I especially like the hard support areas that run the length of the top of the brace and the palm area. The material is stretchy and comfortable and lightweight. A flaw is the wrap around the thumb which is too thin. I noticed it right away and while not immediately uncomfortable it became so after wearing a while. I have above-average hand size and the thumb hole is a bit small overall. I bought another wrap for half the price and it did not have these problems. It was more bulky and stiff, so I ended up keeping both. Definitely worth purchasing. I had bought a cheap one previously that was uncomfortable and made my wrist arm hurt more. I am glad I invested a little more and bought this because it is very comfortable and offers great support. It helped my healing journey for sure and allowed me to do more things than I was able to before. Now that I am healed, I even use these when lifting weights at times for additional support to make sure my wrist doesn't bend too much. I like that it is copper and is anti-bacterial so you don't have to clean it as often (still clean it though please). There is even boning on the hand part that gives extra support to make sure you do not bend your wrist too much. This is a product I will continue to use and never throw away. I bought the Meuller wrist brace at the same time, and trying them both back to back the Copper brace was more comfortable. At first try-on they feel and look similar, and both have a thumb hole and two sturdy Velcro straps. The Meuller straps are a little shorter, which some have complained about on that item’s page. In the end I went for slightly better comfort on the Copper brace along with the copper-infusion, which some say can aid inflammation. Who knows? Can’t hurt. With both braces your wrist is not IMMOBILIZED (they are not casts, after all), but rather there’s some decent support there and the compression is very good. Also with both you can write or whatever. It’s not ideal, but if you need a brace this is about as good as you’re going to get and still be able to hold a pen or similar. Plus, just having this thing on reminds you to ease off on using that hand for a while. There is a hard support on the bottom side of the Copper brace, which helps with stability. The top and sides have no hard “plates,” which help with overall comfort, but to aid stability you can really cinch down the two Velcro straps. Overall, well made, trim, light, and even a bit ‘sporty’ looking. Now I’m just waiting on time and generally lighter use of my right hand to heal my hyperextended wrist injury. ... show more

this is similar to what I got from the orthopedic dr. Doctor to stabilize my wrist due to a ganglion cyst. this one is much more comfortable and is shorter in length. the one from the doctor rubbed on my wrist and was uncomfortable. happy with this purchase.

I tried wearing it to bed and ended up tearing it off at night because it was uncomfortable and the material dug into my skin, even though I loosened it, (until it was so loose that it seemed pointless to wear it anymore). It did however, help with the pain I had been having in my wrist, but caused pain above my thumb 😒 It fits my wrist. If I got a bigger size I’m sure it would be too big. So, I cut a bit of the edges off the hole that goes around the thumb and that seemed to help, but the material ends up itching my skin and leaving deep marks in my arm after wearing for more than an hour or so. This makes it very uncomfortable and annoying, although it does help some with the pain I’m having. I will be on the look out for a brace with a more comfortable fit. ... show more
