    • Different but a cool way to snorkel

I recently tried out this full face snorkel mask for adults and older kids (12+) and I must say, it has revolutionized my snorkeling experience and provides numerous benefits for users. Likes: One of the standout features of this mask is that it covers both your mouth and nose, allowing you to breathe naturally. Unlike traditional snorkels that force you to breathe solely through your mouth, this mask lets you inhale through either your nose or mouth. Fresh air is drawn in through the top of the tube, which is securely on the top of the mask, well-above water-level. The longer tube not only keeps water from entering but also has a mechanism to block any water from getting in through the top opening. The mask provides a much wider and clearer view compared to traditional glass goggles. I remember the old goggles being heavy, with limited visibility, easily susceptible to leaks, and rubber straps that painfully pulled on my hair. In contrast, this mask is fairly lightweight for its bulky appearance and offers an expansive field of vision. Another great feature is its buoyancy; if you need a break from it, it floats on the water, so there’s no worry about it sinking and getting lost. The mask sits comfortably on your head and face, though it takes a bit of getting used to. It also comes with attachments for mounting a waterproof camera, although I haven’t had a chance to test this feature since I don't own such a device. Impressively, the mask doesn't fog up, and while a small amount of water can seep in if the seal isn’t perfect, it easily drains out when you lift the mask above water. Dislikes: One area that could use improvement is the design of the adjustable straps. The 'X' shape at the back of the head feels awkward and can be tricky to put on. I would prefer a traditional single strap that goes from ear to ear against the back of the head for easier adjustment and comfort. Overall: This full face snorkel mask feels like the snorkel mask of the future. I had never seen or used anything like it until I encountered it among product review items. It offers a far superior snorkeling experience with its ease of breathing, wider view, and comfortable fit, despite the minor inconvenience with the straps. If you're looking for a modern upgrade to your snorkeling gear, this mask is definitely worth considering. ... show more

Never used a full face snorkel mask before and can't say I like it that much. Main thing is it's not any more comfortable to wear than traditional goggle and snorkel tube combos. Also if you are snorkeling with others and want to pop out of the water to talk from time to time it's almost impossible and your sound is very muffled with the mouthpiece. I got the large size per the size instructions on the product page and overall find the mask fit more or less ok although there is a bit of leak - trickles and beads of water - which I'm not sure if it's due to the size or the shape of the seal or that I'm not positioning it quite right. The view however is better than traditional goggles. Another thing with this particular model is the snorkel tube, which is removable, is not the easiest to attach - there's no click to indicate it's secured, you kind of have to keep shoving it down to tighten and hope it doesn't come loose while you are in the water. ... show more

It is finally hot here so I got to take this to the pond and give it a try. I've only used traditional snorkels before and this is different. What I like: The view! Nice clear, full view. One piece, and you can breathe through your nose and mouth. Functions nicely. Fairly good quality. What I didn't like: The stem seems to be a little short. To talk to someone when you surface, you have to remove it. Overall, I am happy with it and I recommend it. ... show more

I got the COPOZZ S4 Full Face Snorkel Mask, as our old one did not cut it when it came to keeping a tight seal on your face. I'm go glad that this mask does not have the same problem. I'm also very glad the the adult mask actually fits an adult face...namely mine. This mask is made very well from the plastic make up of the mask and snorkel, to the elastic band and how adjustable it is for various faces. Having a full face mask allows a much better view of everything giving you 180 degrees from left to right. Because you can detach the snorkel, I might throw this in my suitcase on our upcoming beach vacation this year. i love that they have included a mesh bag with a velcro top and handle to carry everything in; very convenient. This one really doesn’t fit my face. I can’t get a good seal but that’s not the main reason for my review. The construction just doesn’t seem all that great and the snorkel Stamm is too short. It really makes me question the practicality of this combination mask. Obviously I can’t test it since I can’t get a good seal and it fills up with water. But I know good driving equipment and this just seems a little bit cheap. ... show more

My daughter tried this at the pool and she was surprised to find that it worked well. She said she could breathe but found that she had to take a deep breath to do so. And she was breathing from her nose. I think a regular snorkel you breathe through your mouth so you may get more air. I did ask her to try to breathe from her mouth instead. It does not fog up and it does drain the water as you come up. When she went all the way under water you could see the bubbles come up from the mask. This would be a good option if you wanted to bring your own snorkel on vacation and look in the ocean, but is also kind of bulky to travel with. Kids will want to take turns using this in the pool and I like that you don't have to put anything in your mouth and it just sits on your face. It does apply a pressure to the face so I'm sure in some time it would leave red marks for certain fair skinned people. ... show more
