    • Rolls smoothly; label adhesive is not good

This is a pretty decent turntable. It seems to roll smoothly and feels sturdy enough for common kitchen uses. It does actually roll on a few metal balls for strength and smooth operation, which is great. My issue is with the adhesive they used to attach the product label. I am used to companies having paper stickers with adhesive that doesn't come off easily. That is fine, and I usually just use some Goo-Gone to remove residual adhesive residue. However, the top of this turntable came with a cardboard label, and a couple spots of what seemed like a sort of hot glue adhesive, or the thin flexible spots that usually give a clean release. However, in this case, the adhesive really bonded to the non-slip rubber-like surface. This is not the type of adhesive that will dissolve with Goo-Gone, so I couldn't use that. I was eventually able to pull it off with some pliers, but it was so strongly bonded that a chunk of the plastic came off with it! Interestingly, I also ordered a smaller version of this turntable -- that one I had no trouble getting the adhesive off. I am wondering if the adhesive bonds stronger and stronger to the surface if these sit in a warehouse for a while before being sold... ... show more

This does exactly what you want it to do. Its base is grippy enough that it won't slide around whatever surface you put it on (and its top similarly will hold on to whatever items you store on it), and it rotates smoothly and easily. If you need to clean it, it's easy enough to wash it or wipe it down, and its design seems sturdy enough to stand up to repeated use over a very long time. If you're using it like most people will, to streamline your storage in your cupboard or fridge, that's really all you need to know: it works exactly as described and it gets the job done. My own use for it is a little bit different. Specifically, I'm using it to rotate props in a theatrical production. In terms of functionality, all of the same considerations apply and I'm still happy with everything. The one additional concern I had for my own purposes is the noise it makes while rotating. Admittedly, it's not completely silent. However, I'm pleased to report that it is at least quiet enough that it's completely overpowered by my background music, making it a perfect addition to my collection of props. ... show more

This COPCO BASICS NON-SKID PANTRY CABINET LAZY SUSAN TURNTABLE (12-inch, Gray) really helps in keeping pantry items organized and accessible. The turntable easily brings items from the back to the front, so you don’t have to rearrange your pantry periodically to rotate older items (and keep them from going past their “best by” dates). It’s also great for storing many little bottles and packages of seldom-used condiments (e.g., horseradish, worcestershire sauce, onion soup mix). The design is simple--just white plastic with a rubberized gray mat on the turntable. The only drawback of these turntables, is that you sacrifice a small amount of pantry space to the rim of the platform (about ¾ of an inch in width). Also, if you stack really heavy items on the turntable, the turntable will eventually fail under the weight. Be sure to measure the depth of your pantry shelves or kitchen cablnets before you order. This 12” wide turntable is too big for my kitchen cabinets, which are only 10” deep (and can only accommodate a 9” wide turntable). ... show more

Mine does squeak when it turns around, but it could be the place I have it resting sort of over a lip of a cabinet a little. I think it’s a good deal to solve a storage problem of storing my excess of spices and wanting to see and get to everything. I did once need to take it out of the cabinet and a glass spice jar came tumbling out off the side and then smashed on my counter- so if storing this in a high upper cabinet I’d recommend only putting your plastic spice jars on it is my lesson learned through trial and error on this. I think it’s a great value for the price. It’s plastic (white) and the bottom of the inside is a little grippy so that the jars stay in place when you spin it. Overall I’d recommend it. ... show more

No worries, I still like this and I found a place for it. It is barely too big for the shelf I had it in mind for but you know what? I'm a survivor and I figured out what to do with it. You know that stuff that collects on top of your fridge like random bottles of alcohol for making margaritas? Yeah, you too? It's now on this heavy duty lazy susan and instead of me muttering and moving bottles about, I just gently spin the wheel. There is a rubberized non slip covering so nothing slips and it works beautifully. The tray is solid enough that it is not showing any signs of flex whatsoever with some heavy bottles sitting on it etc. I'm quite pleased (and relieved!) that this has worked out the way it has. ... show more

I love these Costco Turn Tables. They are really nice. They are well balanced underneath so even if you load them up unevenly they still turn with a nice smooth action. The 12 inch size is slightly large for setting inside a cabinet, but it works well on a table or countertop. This style has a half inch lip going around the perimeter so I would not recommend this specific turn table for cake decorating, unless the cake was 9 inches or less in diameter. It might work well for crimping pie crusts. The non-slip surface is very nice and holds cans nicely in place even when the turn table is given a good spin. A nice, sturdy turn table that can be used in a myriad of ways. Highly recommended. ... show more

The Copco Basics Non-Skid Lazy Susan Turntable is one of those things that just works! It’s exactly what I needed to organize a bunch of miscellaneous items in a kitchen cabinet. Now I can see everything without having to move bottles and jars around. All I have to do is spin to find what I’m looking for. I would recommend measuring your cabinet first, or wherever else you want to put the turntable. I thought my cabinets were big, but the 12 inch size barely fits! The turntable is actually flush against the back of the cabinet so the cabinet door can close. The turntable still turns even pressed against the back. ... show more
