I love these shorts! The material is thick and the waistband does not fold down. The inner lining of the shorts is comfortable without being too tight. The pocket is large which can be a negative. When using it for heavier items like a phone the pocket hangs out the bottom of the shorts. I did fix this issue with a few small stitches tacking the pocket up higher. Super comfortable and they get the job done. I'm 5'5" ~193lbs but with a ~39" waist and an even bigger gut, but they fit in a secure yet relaxed manner.
