I bought this because I needed a floor stand for my Xbox, and was pretty happy when I saw it came with the vent mesh covers. It gave me peace of mind because I know it's going to be harder for dust to get in there now. But it vents really good it looks great, and was worth the money. Was a little worried about the LED thing people keep talking about that it goes out on one side but I haven't had that happen and it's been about a month will update if that changes. You can turn off the lights if you need or change the colors which is pretty cool. i would definitely recommend for anyone looking for one of these ... show more

    • Great product but some things to consider

The product itsel fworks great and looks fine but theres a few things to consider before purchasing 1. The hdmi is ridiculously short. It is meant only for the hdmi ports on the xbox itself, however, if you are using both hdmi ports like i am for other things youll need an outlet/hdmi port VERY close. If you have the hdmi ports open though this is a non problem. 2. I have also gotten fans that go on top of the xbox with much larger fan blades than the ones in this and they seem to do a better job. These ones do still cool it about 10° while the one on top is closer to 20°. When together though they get about 25°-30° so if youre really looking for maximum cooling look into both 3. They can be fairly noisy. I do wear headphones pretty much every time I play so I don't hear them but when I don't have them on there is an obvious fan noise when it's on high. Not absurdly loud or anything but something to consider ... show more

I got this cooling fan for my wife’s series x and she loves it so far. I’ve read other peoples comments on how they’re disappointed that it doesn’t cut off when you power down the Xbox. If you’ve used any, or all the included USB ports on the Xbox (3 in total) you will notice they ARE ALL TIME power sources for your devices!! I have on both mine and my wife’s series x’s a head set and stand, battery charger, and cooling fan using ALL of the the 3 USB ports and none go off with the Xbox!! We just turn the devices off manually when we are done playing for the night. In all, we are very pleased with this cooling fan and it keeps my wife’s Xbox nice and cool plus she digs the purple glow!!! I would also like to add for those reviews that question the high temperature that comes out of the EXHAUST vent even with this cooling fan and give it 1 or 2 stars because of it, that ALL electronic devices put off high amounts of heat but what’s important is how cool the INTERNAL parts are. If you’ve ever stood close to a car’s EXHAUST pipe you will fill heat coming from it when the car is running. This doesn’t mean that the cooling system is NOT working good, it actually means it IS working good because the hotter the EXHAUST temp is the better the heat dissipation of the cooling system is. I have one of those temperature monitoring fans on my series x and yes the EXHAUST temp gets over a 100 degrees when I’m playing a game but my INTAKE air is staying cool with this cooling fan! ... show more

I bought this because the room I have my xbox in gets a little warm during the summers even with air conditioning as I live in the south and that part of the house gets sun all day. It definitely pushes some air which helps on really hot days and or you are playing for hours. The led lights are a cool especially when looking at it from across the room, something I wish Microsoft would have thought of incorporating. I would suggest that if you purchase this product that you clean it and the xbox regularly for dust. I would also say not to take it as you can now put the xbox is a tight space, you still need a fair amount of space around the unit, this also adds a fair amount of height to the system. Fan works, is a bit loud (it's a fan not a ninja) was a bit difficult to get to, a pain to turn on and then cycle the light off but it does what it's suppose to. Cools the system. Honestly I think a bigger heatsynch would work just as well but that's a different review.
