    • Great product, bottle lid cracks
Great product but lid cracks when turning it to open. I thought maybe it was a fluke but happened with two other bottles of coola ( same product). I have not had this issue with opening other bottles/brands.

The bottle was completely sealed shut, and I couldn’t open it. When I twisted the cap, it broke off entirely, leaving the product unusable. It felt like it came from a poorly managed production line. Very disappointing!

I bought this to wear under make up. It goes on nice and thin. Does not feel heavy. It looks greasy at first but give it a few minutes to dry and it’s fine. Zero sunburns and no breakouts.

Really nice sunscreen that has a very light consistency, easily absorbs into the skin, and leaves it hydrated and calm. I prefer mineral sunscreen, but got hooked by this one because it has hyaluronic acid, aloe, and coconut water - all proved to be good for the skin. Seems to be good for sensitive skin as my skin is very sensitive, have not noticed if it clogs pores or irritates the skin. Have not noticed anti-aging effect, would not expect it from sunscreen especially as I don't use it every day, but my skin feels moisturized and hydrated. My only issue with it - was the price, other than that I'd recommend it and would continue using it. ... show more

    • Similar to Korean sunscreens but very expensive
My go-to sunscreens have been Korean ones for the last few years. This one certainly reminds me of some of the cult favorite water-based Korean sunscreens. SPF 30 is decent for daily use but really not enough for direct sun exposure (at least for a pale person like me). I use all water-based makeup and this has had a tendency to separate it mildly. I noticed that the 3rd ingredient in this product is to emulsify oil and water, so despite this having lots of water-based ingredients, there's enough oil to warrant that emulsifier. This is important to keep in mind for how you use it. Compared to similar products on the American market, this is SO expensive. The same size bottle from a leading competitor is a cool $20 less. The price can't even be compared to Korean sunscreens as those are usually quite cheap for the volume. Overall, I really like this stuff and would pair it with oil-based makeup but I would not buy it again because the price is out-of-line. Nearly $50/ounce is outrageous. ... show more
