This style button up is a throwback to the mid 1900s. My wife says it’s dated but I like the style. You know what they say… wait 30 year and it’ll be back in style! It’s extremely comfortable to wear and suitable for any social gathering. The fit was perfect to my normal size. It did arrive like a wrinkle bomb went off but a quick wash helped remove the creases. You know, on the surface this is a great shirt. It really looks nice when I'm wearing it. The fit is just right. It doesn't have too much flab like a lot of shirts do, especially in the large size. I'm not chiseled or anything, but I don't really have much flab either. So a lot of shirts kind of look a little off on me. And it fits my broad shoulders nicely. The material is good, but it's not great. It's a little thin, and it's not the friendliest on the skin. That's not to say it's coarse or anything, but you know, there is soft and there is soft. Great shirt with it's own personality. Very cool 50's style shirt designed to be relevant today. It is not a button down which would destroy the look, glad it's not. It has ribbing the color of the shirt as are the buttons. The knitted material is light and cool but not too thin or cheap feeling. Everything is sewn very well including the buttons.
