  • 5.0 out of 5 stars True ergonomic design
Style: Right hand
Great to avoid any tendinitis in the wrist.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Good concept but definitely needs to be worked on
Style: Right hand
First, the thumb rest is awkwardly placed. It doesn't go back far enough and is far too high to make the side buttons useful. This leaves you with only using the 3 keys on top, which would be ok, if the driver wasn't garbage. Previously, the driver/program would constantly forget your key assignments if it wasn't standard right-click, left-click, etc. If you program it to anything else like Pg Dn, it forgets it so you constantly have to reset it, especially after computer sleeps. Then you have to reboot for it to take effect which is incredibly annyoying when you're in the midst of work. The latest driver is completely useless and crashes the computer. The settings stick with the new one but the whole driver just crashes multiple times a day lol. I previously had a mouse driver from another company that was great, never had issues but it can't read the 3rd top button on the Unimouse so I can't use it. Super frustrating to have wasted money on this. If you only need the right and left click with no other button configurations and you have very large hands, this may work well for you. ... show more

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Great mouse, out of the ones I tried. Wish the pinky-area had more contours though.
Style: Right hand
I recently purchased over 10 vertical mouses. This one is probably ONE of the best. Only complaint I have though is that the place where your pinky rests is very smooth and is sloped inwards from the bottom. If you reversed the contour so that it made a little "cliff" or overhang which was just high enough for your pinky finger to rest underneath, you could have one corner of your finger resting on the mousepad and the other corner hooked under the mouse which would make for quick movements. Lifting and moving the mouse is a common gesture while using a mouse... and if you have to pick up something which is shaped like a pyramid, it's much harder than if you pick up something which is shaped like a... small flowerpot or something. You get what I'm saying, many great mice on the market slope outwards instead of inwards where the pinky rests. If you try to pick up the mouse without gripping too hard, the mouse slips out of your grasp. It's a bad feature. You need a sloped overhang, and a corner to get underneath with that little finger. VERY close to being a perfect mouse though. With that design flaw, I would have to give it no higher than 7/10. With a little pinky-grip, you're looking at 11/10 easy. ***ONE MORE THING*** I purchased this after reading a bad review which complained that the FWD/BACK buttons were placed too far back and that it was hard for him to reach the BACK button. I would have to say that the man is wrong. I came into this thing skeptical, but the man is simply holding the mouse improperly, or hasn't gotten used to the mouse yet. The mouse is adjustable on the thumb-rest and the tilt, so with those combinations, he should find one which feels more comfortable. I will admit that the BACK button is SMALLER than the FWD button, which is honestly backwards... they need to fix that ASAP and figure out whoever thought the FWD should be larger... so they can fire him. Any google search can show you that the FWD button is used 1/40th of the amount as the BACK button. But yea, their placement was ultimately fine, relative to where they are positioned on the mouse. They really need to add some contour to the pinky rest though, otherwise this mouse is unusable for me. I keep going to move it and my pinky slips off, then I have to grab it again and actually squeeze it with some force to pick it up without slipping. That's the type of thing which causes Carpel's-tunnels. Thumbs-up for bringing back the "Middle-Button" pan clicker! ... show more

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars Very cool mouse. Would be nice if the positions could be locked.
Style: Right hand
I really liked being able to tweak the angle of the mouse and the thumb rest. My problem is that they are tension based. The mouse angle is pretty strong so it's not easy to accidentally move. The thumb rest however moves a bit easier, and I find that I tend to rotate it while playing games where I am picking up the entire mouse more often. So it's great that you can adjust this to your exact liking, but it sucks that there no mechanic to keep it locked in place. It's like having your car seat adjusted perfectly, then having to tweak it every so often because it moves as you drive. Defaulting the traditional right click to middle click was a massive mistake imo. Luckily you can change this. You can even change it without software which is cool, but you can't change the third mouse click without the software. The software is inconsistent across OSes. It works pretty well on Windows and has a lot of options for binding buttons. On Mac the options are more limited. For instance I cannot bind the third mouse click to forward/backward buttons. Because the thumb buttons aren't on the rest, its almost impossible to pick up the mouse and press the buttons at the same time (like if your push to talk is bound to a mouse button). Another gaming oriented issue. Again, a very cool mouse, but some of the flaws make it hard for me to own. ... show more
