I was so tired of purchasing the hydrogen peroxide solution with the special cleaning case. I went out on a limb and tried this devise and love it! No more waiting overnight to clean lenses. Just pop in this case and turn on for 5 or 3 minutes and voila- clean, comfortable lenses! Don't use the the tools enclosed! Just use your fingers as you normally would. I’m convinced that ultrasonic contact cleaners work; I can use my monthly contacts lenses for about two months when I use them. I use a hydrogen peroxide type cleaner overnight, and an ultrasonic cleaner, with saline, in the morning. Sometimes, I use the ultrasonic cleaner with regular contact lens cleaner; I also sometimes use it, with saline, to refresh my lenses mid-day. I have another ultrasonic contact lens cleaner that works as well as this one, but after a couple years of use, that cleaner has developed rust. The difference between the two cleaners is: my old one is waterproof and you wash the entire cleaner; this one you only wash the lens holder, therefore avoiding the potential for rust. I can put it In my purse, along with a single use saline vial, and clean mid day (or store my contacts when I switch to glasses) and…. it’ really cute! ... show more

There wasn't a lot of reviews for this but I took a chance because it felt good to my pockets lol. When I first received it there wasn't any directions but there was a tiny red light on the case but nothing was happening. I contacted Amazon and they couldn't figure out what was wrong with the case either so they sent me out a new one. It turned out that I needed to charge it first (duh)!!!. After charging, it worked and it worked really well. I can't compare to others because this is my first case like this but it beats rubbing them clean with my fingers and taking a chance on dropping them while cleaning them. It came with a small usb charger , no charger block as many electronics no longer seem to carry so you need your own charger block and it comes with little plastic tweezers and a little suction stick that you can either use to put your contacts in or take them out which I haven't got my heart up to use yet. Not sure this was made for soft contacts. The first pair I cleaned a couple of days later tore. So I am just so-so in the review. Haven’t tried cleaning another pair as afraid they will tear again.
